The barnacle chests I think were the first set where you handed in chests to unlock a ship set. Def not the first chest to do it. And im like 90% sure there are other chests that unlock cosmetics

My suspicion is that after Grade 1 it will be one cosmetic per grade so that will float us through 2-4, and maybe they'll add a normally more pirate emporium exclusive type of cosmetic for the 5th grade like a ship crest or cannon flare of the fates of fortune variety to really reward players for pushing through as far as they did on one of the hardest commendations

Fort of molten sands isn't unused, it's just rare for it to go active, I've seen it go active maybe 3 times.

It only activates when someone is in the roar when a fort is cued

I don't know how many of you remember this but, there was an unobtainable blue and gold belt that Rare accidently added to people's clothing chest and now that the Fates of Fortune stuff are getting dripfed we can say that there will be clothing options later on since the belt literally has the same style as the Fates of Fortune set.

There is most defintely to be clothes because the belt already existed in the game at one point. It was that placeholder belt that was put into random peoples clothing chests just before season 9

i think theres gonna be a new curse for grade 5 of the commendation tbh and assuming the cannons, capstan and wheel comes out in grade 2 i think grade 3 is gonna be clothing and grade 4 is going to be equipment however that could be saved for the reaper chest commendation bc that still has some grades, like we got the fates of fortune sword and pistol so then next grade would be the blunder and sniper but theres still 3 other grades

It better not be at the skelly fleet, that’s how I grind my barnacled chests. I think it should be at multiple events, like if a fof is up, it’ll be there, and would also be at other world events. Making the fof that much sweeter, without taking away

Yeah I really like it at the Fort of Fortune moving it around will remove the value of the commendation since it is such a hot place to be and the fact that it is a rare world event

@@rambo-cambo3581 I would argue the skele fleet is harder than the fort of fortune if you’re not a skilled player or skilled crew, and imagine the pvp battles that would happen in the middle of skele fleet battle it would be epic.

Was just thinking about this. Imagine if athena chest became one of the chests for chest of fortune commendation and you had to get like 100-200 of them for a cosmetic. make fort of the damned great again!
