Would it possible to demonstrate how to set up a multi timbral patch using only the hardware please? I love my 1010 it's a little sleeper and I'd like to get as much as I can out of it 🙂
Hey paddy how are you doing? Can you maby make a video tutorial on how to update the firmware of the jv1010.. I am stuck at the importing stage... After I import all the midi files to one track in my Daw and I start to send all the parts in succession the jv stops receiving after the first part... Can you maby help?
It can be controlled via MIDI Sysex (like most MIDI instruments), so any DAW should be able to control it. I had a plugin for Reaper which gave me extra control. I was also able to programme it via an app on a tablet.
You'll have to look on the second-hand markets to find a JV1010. There's a whole range of JV synth modules and keyboards with this same sound set (or an expanded version)

Any clue how to connect this properly with a DAW like Ableton?? Would I need download software of any kind 😭
