Both of these things together have had my GERD at bay for years. I drink coffee and caffeinated soda, and all the types of food I want. I just curb that a bit, but I could go hog wild, and I'd be okay.

Don't worry im with ya! ❤❤❤ I have horrible anxiety derived acid reflux! Have 2 different stomach medications i have to take everyday. If i miss a day my stomach hurts so bad and my throat burns so much that i can hardly breath! 😅

Ask your doctor about Sucralfate. It coats the lining of your stomach to help it heal from damage caused by the stomach acid. You could have old or new ulcers that haven't healed fully that is being irritated by or causing your GERD. When my acid reflux started it really messed with my stomach and i took Sucralfate for a month to help heal my stomach. I still deal with acid reflux based on my stress levels but i am in way less pain than before!
Hi Rachel, sorry your GERD is still bothering you. I’ve had it before and it sucks! I drank aloe Vera juice when I had it and I felt like it helped me. It coats your stomach and allows things to heal. Online it says to take a tablespoon of it 3 times a day. I never knew that lol. I drank a small cup everyday. It might be worth a shot for you. If anything, it shouldn’t make your symptoms worse. Warning, it is a laxative. Also, it’s definitely an acquired taste. Papaya juice or the fruit is also known to help digestion because of its enzymes. I’m not sure how that affects GERD specifically, but I have drank papaya juice for indigestion and it helped. I would try a small amount initially and see how you feel. I hope these tips or others you come across help!! Although these worked for me, every body is different. Also, this is based on my own personal experience. I am not a doctor and am in no way qualified to give medical advice.

Specifically for Gerd. I have taken one a day everyday for the past 7 years. the GERD symptoms are so much less AND I can have coffee

Omeprazol everyday in the morning , you have to keep eating so the acid in your stomach wont act up, is kinda hard when you can't have the things the doctor said, but is the only way. Keep it up!

I also had the same type of symptoms and pain and oh my,that pain was the WORST.!! One doctor thought it was gerd too n i lived w that for over a year,but the pain started getting worse n worse,till i went to a different doctor,he did an ultrasound n i found out it was Gallstones..i had to get an emergency surgery to remove them.! Thank God i got a second opinion because it was so bad that if I would’ve continued thinking it was just gerd,I wouldn’t be here anymore..my point here is,please get a second opinion,get an ultrasound to make sure its not Gallstones,because even if u take medication n follow that diet,like i did,the pain can get 100% worse..

I’ve had GERD since I was 12 years old. See, it’s not an old lady thing. Anyway, Nexium is the only thing that helps me. It’s over the counter, and was life changing for me.

@@imjuliewaters maybe,my other option is that Rachel and Abby are the ones camping,and the gang went to hang out for a bit,but they are going back to their homes,so Em and girlfriend have Blaze for that night.(I haven't watch Em stories so IDK,hope they explain today)
