I have this 2004 Red Rare Dale Earnhardt Car! How insulting can these people be? Have they even driven one? This car is scary fast 150 and up in 2 sec. flat! Mine is No. 1972 our of the 2,883 that were made. This car was very cared for and lived better than I do!. So clean you could eat off the engine and the underneath of this car!! My Mechanic said it was built so well and it runs so well (and it runs very well!! Very quiet!) that if all cars were built like this, they would have no cars to repair. The guy who is talking on this video is full of shit!!! It holds the road well all the time. Not a rattle in it. I was able to insure it very well under Classic Car Ins. because they said it was hard to find and very rare! I also have 1 or 300 1985 Monte Carlo SS with a extra added horse power engine, Black Cherry with the red/orange stripes. It is a beautiful car !! Classic Car Ins. Co. liked it so well they had the car do a commercial for their Company about 3 yrs ago! So there!!!! Whomever is spouting as this crap about these classic cars must not own one, other wise he would enjoy it and treasure it!! I sure would like to stuff a tail pipe in his potty mouth! I am so blessed to own 2 of them!!!!!

GM slaughtered this car when they put it on the fwd W platform. I can understand the Impala and 4 door Grand Prix GT being a fwd car since they actually had a usable rear seat that in a crunch could fit 3 across. The Monte Carlo was a large fwd Coupe with mild performance and marginal interior quality. It was a front heavy vehicle that didn’t like to be pushed and the earlier 2000-03 6th gen SS models were dogs without the supercharger. Ride quality was Buick plush, maybe a tiny bit stiffer but it was not sporty at all. A lot of the W bodies felt like badge engendered versions of one another.

I had a 2003 Supercharged version, drove it for 5 years, picked it up with 43,000 miles and got her up to 200,000 miles when I sold it. It was incredibly reliable, the only non standard maintenance I had to do was two wheel bearings. Other than that it was just brakes, oil, spark plugs and that's about it. Was a blast playing around with the 90's mustangs and all the ricer 4 cylinders because they never expected to get gapped by it. Overall I loved the thing for what it was, it was a great daily driver that could be fun when you wanted it to be.

Spot on with respect to the type of people who find this type of car attractive. Frankly I've had Revell model car kits that have less and better plastic in the interior.
I rented one of these to take a business drive from Pittsburgh to Ashtabula. I had to do a panic stop when a car cut in front of me at a toll barrier and I still remember feeling like I was in an out of control sled that was going down in icy hill. It might have looked cool to onlookers but all I could see was that concrete lane divider coming right at my driver side door.

Hating NASCAR and buying a NASCAR inspired car is like hating [leader of 1940's Germany] and buying a VW beetle...
    *oh wait*

My Dad's cousin (I called her my aunt) had one of these, and to be fair she owned a NASCAR Weekly team at the time.

The way those thin tires hiding under the fenders are giving me 1st gen Honda Insight vibes.

That outro rap was straight fire 🔥. How long till the Regular Car Reviews album hits Spotify? I need this on my commute playlist.

That specific car is like a time capsule to mid 2000's car scene. A hodge podge of DIY performance upgrades, Autozone cosmetic items, and stickers. I'd bet $100 she has a board advertising the details of this car that gets set up at "car shows" at Sonic.

Got a neighbor who found one of these with a blown engine. He put an LSX with a 6 speed and all new suspesion. Not my thing, but with the nascar like rims it looks okay.......it sounds like a beast.

Listening to this on my way to work, I was all offended as I had a 3.4 2005 Monte a couple years back, until I stopped at a gas station for coffee and saw this EXACT MODEL idling out front, with the owner smoking at the front door. No lie.

It looks like racecar 🤷‍♀️ so why not race it. This car won me a damn championship. It's more racecar than most tunerboys and their civics
