Polishing the Flute (1) Lecture Demonstration

After many years of playing music the flute suffers many small dents and scratches, lots of tarnish, mechanical wear and dead pads. My "Overhaul & Mechanical" class shows the steps necessary to restore the flute mechanically, and we use a buffing machine to first remove all the sanding and burnishing marks with Tripoli, and then (next video) we buff the flute with Rouge. Looks easy? Don't try it by yourself! Come for a class to learn all the techniques from a 'Master' flute maker... while it's still possible. Bring your old flute for the Project Flute. It'll look better than new!!
