I disagree.... Machines like this have pushed the envelop of what craftsman ( like my self ) can do. CNC machinery needs to be fully embraced as just a technology to extend the reach of woodworking.

Exactly, this machine is nothing more than a tool. At the end it all comes to the craftsmanship of the man behind the machine (CAM and operator). I'd like to see "traditional, purist" craftsmen make doors with nothing but their firgernails...
CNC is to the crafting industry as the Automobile was to the Transportation industry. Sure, you can still deliver some things better by bicycle courier, but CNC provides high quality for low prices. The labor is in the design, not the production. What artist can't appreciate that?
Europeans are making good machines , it can help in making excellent work , but the proplem the cost of these machines , here in Sudan we have huge wood resources but we can't make it as beautiful as it been by such machines.... we are just watching , our incomes not like yours so don't think all the people can buy it
all good with this video exept 4-5 moves where you work the machine like it have left turn tools :) its bad for the machine this so change yr plan and it gonna be perfect :)

Or lyptus. I think it does quite good. White oak is quite good wood to work with, at least as long as I know.
