About All In The Family:
One of the most acclaimed comedy series of all time, All in the Family with Archie Bunker as the irascible, highly opinionated, working-class family man who viewed the world on his terms and his terms only. When not arguing with his liberal son-in-law, "Meathead," Archie took refuge in his long-suffering wife, Edith, who tries her best to understand Archie's conservative ways and outdated beliefs.

Both George Jefferson, and Archie Bunker are iconic😆
Not 2 mention Classic.
More alike than they want to admit
George and Archie together again is GOLD!😂
I always loved the dynamic between Archie and George! These were the days when people had a sense of humor!!! 😂. Best days!!!! Best shows!!!
YOu think people don't have a sense of humor now? THese comments are so ODD, always swiping at how things are "now".
@@93JubileeMeh, crusty ol' farts like me are just reminiscing about the "good old days" In my case though, I do watch more modern shows such as TPB. Totally different brand of humor too.
Incredible, they're almost happy to see each other
Actually, I think that underneath it all - as acting characters, mind you - they were friends. And I think a lot of the banter was based on Ali & Cosell ... best of friends who relentlessly abused each other.
@@douglasnewman2299 George would never openly admit it, but he was grateful for the fact that Archie accepted him and his family into the neighborhood when the other folks really did not. He was also grateful for Archie becoming a mentor like figure to Lionel.
Even though they would never become BFFs, it was good to see Archie and George mellowing out with each other.
Love that look George gives Archie when he opens the door
I always had a soft spot for Archie, but I loved, loved, loved George!!
Good lord that cake looks good.
Archie Bunker and Fred Sanford: the crossover we never got.
because they were not on same network
@@sollyparker3947Not to mention, they would never have bumped into each other. Fred was in LA.
@@Driven2Beers Facts lol
To have that level of chemistry in front of the camera, I bet that Carrol O Connor and Sherman Hensley were really close friends in real life.
They very well could have been. It actually wouldn't surprise me.
AITF at it finest Classic as can be
My sister ran across the one who played George in Danville while having a picknike. She reached across the table and touched his hand.
Meathead got a bigger piece cake than George. That's why there wasn't enough for Archie.
Very noticeably bigger when ya actually look at em...
That was pretty messed up of Gloria and Edith.
And George didn't even eat his cake! Lol😅
Crossover old school 😂
Not really, since the Jeffersons were regular cast members on All In the Family.
One of the best shows - we used to be able to laugh at each other.....
I think a lot of the Archie-Jefferson banter was based on Ali-Cosell, who absolutely ABUSED each other but underneath it all, they were the best of friends.
I think this was the first, possibly the only time George called Edith by her first name.
The chair! 🤭
Yes great video funny.
All I can think of is how can they pack up all their stuff and move it so quickly? Maybe the neighbour’s helped.
Great bit! Thanks for posting. Also how on earth could anyone pack up and move in that short of time?!
Louise made an appearence in Season 09.
nice seeing that,,,
George Jefferson was much more funny in All In the Family.
He was funny anywhere...
Wrong, he's always funny. He's the star of the best sitcom ever, The Jeffersons. And he was the best character on All In the Family too
He mellowed out in time while on The Jeffersons. I seem to remember him saying at some point that his two closest friends were Tom Willis and Mr. Bentley (two white men!)
@@nassauguy48He was better in All in the family. But both show were the best ever in sitcom history. 👍
I loved George's mother with her passive aggression toward Louise! 😄
George Jefferson would later buy the Banks' Bel-Air mansion in the mid-90s.
I love you all in the family my favorite TV show ❤❤❤❤♥️📡📡📡📡📡📺📺📺📡📡📡📡📡📡📡📡
1:56, 🤣😂
I like George Jefferson, but I think Archie and Henry Jefferson were more funnier together.
I read where Henry was originally supposed to be the husband, but something suddenly changed Norman Lear's mind. I think he wanted to make George a mysterious character whom no one ever saw, but then spring him on the audience in a surprise.
The raspberry war was one of the most funniest scenes in the entire show aside from the Archie/Mike Indian debate and Edith telling Archie to stifle 🤣
Buy a house without looking at it.
Archie's a great entre-manure. Too bad they never used the Bambini's in storylines with Archie.
Lmfao
🪙 Gold
😂
U came a long way baby glad to see a white man make it in the world
the house is wrong, the door should be to the right and the stairs are not that close to the door?
It’s not Archie’s house, it’s backwards.
Its not your house, Why do you care?
