George Telek is a legend and a champion of PNG music. He was founding band member of Moab Stringband then was joined the Molachs Unlimited releasing their album Talaigu by Sound Stream Studios in 1981 later to be Pacific Gold Studios in 1983 and than the band was renamed from Molachs Unlimited to Molachs Painim Wok with their hit songs North Coast Bay, Vunalaslas, Atava Karu plus other.

In 1984 members of Molachs Painim Wok disbanded and left George Telek at Molachs and soon after George Telek rejoined John Warbat, Henry Maniot, David Kepas, Wakol Kaia for the Snake Rattle & Roll album which was released in 1985. Hit songs from Snake Rattle & Roll were: Autula Bung, Painim Wok, Vanakaan Avet, Vinirua, Tovual Na Lom, Pamira Nukvueu, Wari Tru Long Yu, Jenny, Amapinai Morobe, King Kong.
