Bad officiating? Kid, Herbert came out after halftime playing for the foul knowing they would get BS penalties to get them back into the game, it was disgusting.
Also the Blitzing on third down it’s not working so I don’t understand why we keep doing that it just makes it easier for opposing offenses with quick passes in open space for first down conversions almost like bailing the opposing teams out of third down situations instead should fall back since we all know they are passing should defend it or intercept the pass knowing it’s coming on third downs smh!
We don’t have the horses on offense to threaten any of the big dogs of the conference this year…. Baltimore, KC, and Buffalo. If Herbert was magic like Allen he would overcome the lack of weapons but we need to help him out with wrs and tight ends and interior lineman cuz he’s not Josh Allen…. Yet
I’m beginning to see how Staley’s defense was so crappy. 3 DB’s who can’t tackle: M Davis, Asante, and J Taylor. Line backers that couldn’t cover: Kendricks and Murray. One more draft and round of FA and we fill those last remaining holes.
This was almost a good thing that Ladd missed because it forced the chargers coaching and management to realize that Ladd is their only reliable offensive player and that they don’t have enough firepower. I think Harbaugh believed he had enough and as much as I wanted Ladd out there, hopefully this gets him realizing to get more weapons going forward.

A few observations on the latest inevitable loss to the Chiefs... 1) The Chargers defense's inability to close out a game against the Chiefs is as much of a sure thing as the sunrise and sunset. Regardless of the coaches, players, doinks, etc. 2) Charger Defenders: Just because Mahomes pump fakes or jukes, you don't have to stop in your tracks and wait--you're still allowed to rush the passer without hesitation and tackle him to the ground. 3) Herbert's "miss" to Palmer on the deep ball was actually on Palmer. The SlowMo clearly showed Palmer making a last second sidestep to the right instead of running straight, which caused him to lose a step or two and end up short of the ball. 4) Why isn't D.J. Chark being utilized? Why didn't the Chargers throw the deep ball to Chark instead of Palmer? 5) Justin Herbert: When you know the Chiefs are going to bring the heat, why stand there like a tree trunk waiting to be sacked? Why not have a quick screen ready to go? 6) The more things change, the more they stay the same. That's Chargers football.
Here's the powder blue lining: It's nigh upon impossible for an NFL team to beat another NFL team 3 times in one season, so it the Chargers see the Chefs in the post-season, the Charger will end the Chefs.
Close? ..no ..the Chiefs always have a little something extra available to beat the Chargers ..and the defense can’t make the stop when needed ..same result against all the top tier teams they play ..the ‘top’ defense folds in crunch time ..
Going to be interesting to see how this team attacks the offseason! Would be shocked to see them come hard after Trey Smith.. if Harbaugh ever realizes skill position players matter this team has the potential to be DANGEROUS! Better luck next year…
As a Chiefs fan I love watching Harbaugh try to coach in 2024 like it’s 2009! In his defense Allen and Williams wouldn’t have been in the plans for the future. Probably smart to cut bait and take that medicine at the same time as trying to straighten out the cap. What happens with Slater, Mack, and Bosa in the off season will be super interesting…
You seem to have forgotten we’ve been down: WR1, WR2, RB1(just came back off a broken leg), K, K2, ED1(just came back off a torn ACL), CB2, TE3, TE4, TE5. Literally haven’t been full strength for ONE SNAP this season. I’d take it easy on owning the division. Maybe COMPETE for ONE division title first…
Everyone has lost to the Chiefs like this so it's not a surprise. Palmer and Johnston need to play like this when McConkey is out there and just keep Stone Smart starting at tight end and more touches for Vidal at rb.
BUT… Once again, the only penalties that influenced the game were all against the Chargers. Ridiculous! The Chefs were holding all night, couldn’t stop the Charger pass rush and where were the flags. On the last drive on the 3rd and 10, Bosa was literally being strangled with an arm around his neck, in front of the ref, 3 feet from Patty M. How does that not get called? Oh yeah, the Chefs. GRo made GREAT adjustments at the half. He deserves credit. Herbert’s issues in first half were because of the Chefs defense, give them credit. I think they “found” themselves in the second half offensively and it could propel them to better games over these last four games. Herber outperformed Patty M by a small margin. I think the criticism about one missed throw by Herbo is uncalled for.
You forgot about the ticky tack personal foul on chiefs and 2 soft PI calls, plus a blatant one in Hopkins that wasn't called. But carry on with your excuses same old Charger fans
Receivers couldn't get open. Consistently saw Herbert making 3 or 4 reads with no one getting open. If ladd was there, he would have had a guy. I agree, they win if ladd was there.
I knew with that Horrible Kick Off giving the Chiefs & MaHolmes the ball at the 40 yard line damn near Midfield it was over What a Horrible Horrible decision because the Chargers Defense was playing pretty good could’ve stopped them but made it easier for that final game winning drive smh!
That was a decision that came from “New York” aka the league. If you believe Harbaugh made that call you need a psych evaluation. Pro sports is bs now, Im too invested into the love of my team to jump shit but this shit is basically turning into WWE, and lets not talk about the impact of sports betting smh. Shit is weak af
Can we just put Pipkins out of his misery? He’s a good depth piece. We put in Jamaree Salyer on a 4th and short I believe. Jamaree is a stud. He deserves the starting spot over Trey.
The fact that people in the comment section watched last night's game and came to the conclusion that Justin Herbert isn't clutch?? If you're saying that, you need to reevaluate the way you look at football. So, by this logic, Justin Herbert made the kick interference penalty. Justin Herbert multiplied himself times 11 and allowed the Chiefs to meticulously move down the field and give up a game winning field goal and didnt...just author a drive that gave his team the lead with under 5 minutes left...without his best WR. Justin Herbert isn't clutch? Do you see how crazy that logic is? Gtfo with that BS.
Not to mention johnston physicality truck there db josh williams knocking him out for the rest of game is what kinda sparked the late surge when chiefs Whent deeper into that db deph
When you keep winning games by one score or less, that's due to good coaching (Chiefs). Conversely when you keep losing games by one score or less, that's due to inadequate coaching (Chargers). We gave up the run too early in the game. The first half was a disaster. I predict that the Chargers may "POSSIBLY" win one more game (Raiders) and drop the rest! Ladd is a great player but he is too small in stature for the job he has been assigned. The Chargers are a traveling field hospital. Seems like Harbaugh wasted money on the strength coach who was supposed to keep the Chargers from being injured.
The way I see it, it's better we lost this game cause if we won then the AFC championship game may have been in Buffalo, so now KC has a chance to be #1 seed which could make the championship game in KC and I think it's much better for us to play in KC vs Buffalo.
Jim Harbagh entered the season without good offense with issues on all level from OL to TE to WRs and no excuse with ton of salary cap and missing on draft picks
Blaming Herbert is blasphemy. How many times did the defense have the opportunity to sack Mahomes when it mattered? What about the botched kick? @@COACHTY1 I've been a bolts fan since Jack Kemp and the Kennedy administration, so the transformation that Harbaugh and team have caused in a few months (I'm talking about the culture, primarily) means a lot to me. I get what you're saying about this one game, but beating the Chiefs without McConkey wasn't realistic. The first half demonstrated that, big-time: Add in Ladd's inevitable half-dozen first down catches, and this is a different game, with a different outcome.
Proud of what they lost they are called the chokers for a reason and Justin Herbert is a all time choker coming from chargers fan Justin only plays good against bad teams year 5 and we are still seeing this play from him it’s embarrassing
@ What are you talking about? Justin Herbert brought them back and gave them the lead that wasn’t on him.
@@COACHTY1 I am calling it like it is Herbert will never be as good as Patrick or the other qbs in the afc west it’s obvious that he lack clutch in his game
And again. The final play before the kick was.....Kelce. Not sure a team can have two daddies, but for the Chargers it seems to be both Mahomes and Kelce.
Still waiting for Justin Hurbert big signature game..
How the hell do the Chiefs keep getting away with this? From bad officiating, to sheer dumb luck, they keep winning games!
Oh come on your team just lost Period
We got off to a Horrible start we shot our own selves in the foot this week , However that was still a typical chiefs win based on this season.
Bad officiating? Kid, Herbert came out after halftime playing for the foul knowing they would get BS penalties to get them back into the game, it was disgusting.
Never seen anything like it.
Now the bigger question is will the Chargers even make the playoffs?
If they do and advance we could have a rematch against the Chiefs.
Yessir, Chargers make the playoffs. 90.5% chance.
I agree with this been a trend keep doing what been working don't get to exotic then give up a big play
Thumbnail is priceless 😂😂
Herbert took the sacks to not make a costly mistake still kept it close an was a awesome game
Great bounceback from QJ. He gets a lot of flack, but the dude has 7 TD's and he's going to get better.
He has 7 TDS and about 20 drops. He’s a scrub
Agree, Paul is a moron chief fan.
Yet
A run on 3 and 15 shows that we aren’t aggressive
I’m beginning to see how Staley’s defense was so crappy. 3 DB’s who can’t tackle: M Davis, Asante, and J Taylor. Line backers that couldn’t cover: Kendricks and Murray. One more draft and round of FA and we fill those last remaining holes.
Get rid of Pipkins, Bosa, Taylor
This was almost a good thing that Ladd missed because it forced the chargers coaching and management to realize that Ladd is their only reliable offensive player and that they don’t have enough firepower. I think Harbaugh believed he had enough and as much as I wanted Ladd out there, hopefully this gets him realizing to get more weapons going forward.
I was at this game and was awesome sadly we didn't get the win but still did ok
First year brothers , we got this !!?
Chargers are getting better by the day.
Stone Smartt is a good pass catching option we need to put him on the field more often
Regardless of the result of this season, we gotta remember that we certainly overachieved. Next season is the true test.
We gotta have a serious convo bout Herbert. He’s great, but I see why ppl have their doubts about him. Have to win big games. If we want to talk about him being elite he just can’t miss these big throws
@@michaelbell75 Herbert is fine. At least 25 teams would probably take him
@@michaelbell75low iq comment 😂
@@tge206he's right though. Herbert is a middling QB the NFL is trying to sell to non--LAC fans as elite in the same tier with Mahomes, Burrow, Allen and Jackson
As a Chiefs fan I think Ladd McConkey is going to be a problem in the NFL!! Watched him play for years and I know how shifty and sneaky fast he really is. Not but Respect for Justin Herbert!! Whoever the Stone guy is... y'all need to play him more. With that being said Go Chiefs ❤️💛❤️💛
Enjoy this run because next year the broncos and the chargers are going to get better shit maybe even the raiders if they get sanders in the draft
@RariShiesty It was fifty years in the making for this run!! We, Chiefs fan's, watched others in our division dominate for years. Don't worry, we do savor these moments. We know how long it took us to get these types of win's. Andy and Spag's won't always be here, the Mahomes and Kelce duo are almost over... we're soaking it all in. I know I didn't appreciate Tom Brady and his run so I do understand but as a fan of the game who would have ever thought we'd see someone else break Brady's records? We get to see two amazing QB's in our lifetime, regardless of the division.
@@donnacochran3335 I’m just so tired of seeing the chiefs and I wasn’t even a chiefs hater at first before they even won their first Super Bowl I was actually supporting them I wanted them to win but what did it for me was all the glaze and especially the Taylor swift shit, anything mahomes does they glaze it and be like omg he is the greatest ever even if he takes a sack and I’m not saying he ain’t one of the greatest players I’ve ever seen then you add the fact yall offense haven’t been on par the last two years and yall been looking extremely beatable especially this year but no one is beating yall by some divine miracle yall are 10 - 0 in one score games that’s a crazy stat
Chiefs always do just enough to win. If we score 40, they probably have 43. It’s just ridiculous. Really hate that team.
All the wins are for Taylor Swift, the Refs couldn't control a win for the Chiefs when they lost their 1st game 2 weeks ago.
I don't mean to be critical of Herbert. He is great. But he is not in Burrows, Mahomes and Allen's league.
That was the doink of destiny man. All I can do is laugh at the luck of the chiefs at this point
We should have traded up in the draft and gone after Bowers 😢
Alt has been a bust
What does the chargers offense do that is good?
Here's the powder blue lining: It's nigh upon impossible for an NFL team to beat another NFL team 3 times in one season, so it the Chargers see the Chefs in the post-season, the Charger will end the Chefs.
Can't blame the refs on this one. The cardiac chiefs do it again.
Some teams take paper bags to put on their heads, chiefs fans take them to hyperventilate into. 😂😂
Close? ..no ..the Chiefs always have a little something extra available to beat the Chargers ..and the defense can’t make the stop when needed ..same result against all the top tier teams they play ..the ‘top’ defense folds in crunch time ..
I want salyer out there and not just for a 4th down package. We need to see him for all packages at this point
@ Classic Chef fan. NO penalties are ever acceptable. Refs on the payroll are not supposed to call anything, even the obvious.
@@texmcboog go and count all of your Superbowls San Diego
@@texmcboog chiefs gave up more penalties and near double the amount of yards.. Hopefully Andy gets a refund
Receivers couldn't get open. Consistently saw Herbert making 3 or 4 reads with no one getting open. If ladd was there, he would have had a guy. I agree, they win if ladd was there.
A few play makers would be nice.
Where is our Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp?
This is a GOOD team but not an elite team. first round playoff losers it's just the truth...
David that play you mentioned that Qj was real physical on the sidelines, he knocked Williams out of the game. He Blasted him!
I have yet to see the Chargers play two full halves of football.
Don’t worry, team is getting better and better. Chiefs days are coming to an end
I knew with that Horrible Kick Off giving the Chiefs & MaHolmes the ball at the 40 yard line damn near Midfield it was over
What a Horrible Horrible decision because the Chargers Defense was playing pretty good could’ve stopped them but made it easier for that final game winning drive smh!

They Need to Scrap those Reverses and run plays to davis out of the backfield they dont work
It’s obvious so predictable
Maybe the chargers can change their name to the "moral victories"
Not to mention johnston physicality truck there db josh williams knocking him out for the rest of game is what kinda sparked the late surge when chiefs Whent deeper into that db deph
justin didn’t overthrow palmer palmer was two steps too slow even though he was open
Jim Harbagh entered the season without good offense with issues on all level from OL to TE to WRs and no excuse with ton of salary cap and missing on draft picks
our interior line was soft we need to replace those two guarde put jamaree instead of pipkins or zion
I see us winning one game next year just watch
Blaming Herbert is blasphemy.
How many times did the defense have the opportunity to sack Mahomes when it mattered? What about the botched kick? What about leaving Kelce wide open on a 3rd and 7 when it mattered. Or the beautiful throw by Herbert that was negated by a penalty. I’m sorry all of the 3 and outs is pathetic. Greg Romas has to go!
Herbert is an overrated hack, the defense is full of frauds, and Jim Harbaugh is the most overrated Coach in the league. This team stinks.
Herbert is very good, Harbaugh is great. The team needs 1-2 more good drafts like its 2024 draft.
They need tight end, WR and interior offensive line help.
@@scottzundel3870 LOL…. The guards are the worst in the league, they have no TE, no WR, no DTs, no DEs. Their drafts are horrific, and it looks like Harbaugh may have dementia.

No lie if the chargers offense can play even a good 3 quarters of football they can win games easily because of the defense and if they can play a whole game then they can dominate games
Pipkins was the glaring hole on the line as usual. Chark caught a pass. Does he supplant Reagor on the depth chart. Henley won’t be the last guy to get faked out by Patrick. We need a RB that can catch out of the backfield. Kaleb Johnson or Kyle Monangue anybody?
Also Daiyan Henley over running towards MaHolmes
Henley has been playing great but its just so irritating when players do that instead of just getting the QB.
Also Tuli if he only would’ve turned around and notice Kelce right behind him alone could’ve covered him or at least bblock the throwing lane for MaHolmes knowing 2 of his Teammates were already close to him so why bunch up like that instead of being more aware of your surroundings.
Why did Cam hart not hit mahomes when he had a str8 shot on him Then Henley trys to pop warner arm tackle him This shit laughable THEY NOT READY AT ALL
When we acquire more receivers, there will be a new Sheriff in town, and the Boltz ⚡️will be handing out beat downs BTFU
I want to see pipkins bench
Love to see KC again. It could happen.
The Chiefs are injured, what Gap are they closing?
The Chiefs were and are still ripe for the Pickens. ALL they had to do is play 4 quarters of average NFL football. The offense can't do that. They have not played well all year long. The Chargers are not a playoff team.
also we were playing against the refs even colinsworth called out the refs on that right tackle always starting too soon and all the none holding calls wtf proud of our boys to only loose by 2 pts notice the gap closing? last time it was 7 this time 2 next one is a victory

Jim Harbaugh 😊 the former Michigan Wolverine HC. Didn't Michigan just beat Ohio State? Wasn't there a huge brawl on the field?
Taylor Swift knows she Usurped Mariah Carey as the Queen of Christmas ⛄ yet many of us know zero joy.
That was embarrassing performance with pathetic performances on all three levels special team offense and defense and still under 20 points scored and no win against over 500% winning team all season long and tons of missing tackles one on one all year
IOL needs addressed WRS are trash roman can't call a game worth anything without dobbins OUR D isn't as good as everyone thinks i did only have us winning 8 games this year so i wasn't expecting much
Let’s talk about everybody always falling for Patrick Mahome’s trash ass pump fake! Same thing happened last game. GO TACKLE HIM!!! Even if he just lets it go you can disrupt the pass! Pat be 30 yards past the line of scrimmage sometimes and we still fall for it smh! Also, defense balled out overall, but why was there so many damn wide open passes when they needed them, gotta be better. Offense played half a damn good game again but we gotta stop running QJ like a X receiver! He did great this game tho! Over Al we played with a team at 65% and hurt Herb so we are in decent shape, still need more weapons tho. Jim and G Ro gotta cut out the stubbornness and blend the team with offense real weapons/ skill positions. Btw G Ro ain’t the answer at OC!!!
I’m sorry but I’ve seen enough of Greg Roman. I just don’t like it.
