Incredible work, as all your models are! I've seen a few other Lego locomotive builders who made their models available for purchase, but the price for one particular locomotive was about $2,500. That's what the new Vision Line Big Boy costs. I have no idea why it would cost that much, but I'm sure there's a good reason why.
I happen to have been spending way to much time researching Daylight consists recently. However, as a result, I can say your consist is spot on. I'm honestly impressed how much of the detail you've gotten, all the way down to the SP's shop built trucks. Your car layouts are as close to the rail thing as you'll get in lego, the features of each car are very nice. Stunning work, keep it up. I'm bloody well impressed.
Thank you! A lot of time and research went into this model and the design. Unfortunately like you said, there is only so much you can do with lego at this scale but I tried my best to replicate as much detail as I could
`This is one of my favorite trains in real life. But this is one of the best builds in Lego ever!! I hope you make more fabulous American trains in the future and have fun building and create them.
This whole thing reeks of such sheer ingenuity. But if there is one flaw I can point out, it's that I believe your chuff per revolution is TWICE what it should be.
For the lights, you may want to find a way to run them as parallel circuits rather than a series circuit. That way each light would receive a more even current. The only issue is that you'd have to have a separate wire for each car and an additional one to finish the entire loop.
fun fact the version you made of SOUTHERN PACIFIC 4449 IS THE WHITE WHEEL TRIM ITS WHEN STEAM locomotive have white rings on its wheels she only had its for a year though in 1981.
That's freaking awesome it looks too realistic it look just like the Southern Pacific Daylight 4449 Locomotive i love it!!!!! Then if is that Can you make Pere Marquette 1225 Berkshire Locomotive? I will really love to see you make one for the next video upload!!!!!😍😍😍😍😍
Beautiful build ❤ I love the fog machine idea! So creative! I never thought about trying to incorporate it to a Lego set. I pre ordered the Union Pacific Big Boy set from PNW steam shop, it would be so cool if I could add the fogger to it!
Phenomenal job mate! Massive fan of your steam locomotive. The sounds, the lights and even the smoke. You're definitely in a good position for the Brick Train Awards. Also, where exactly did you get the fogger from? I would like to try to pair it with my PFx brick too.
Thanks a lot for your kind words! I'm also a huge fan of your Malayan Railway class 20 locomotive. You did an awesome job at programming your PFX brick with a lot of custom sounds and functions which I am still learning to do. As for the fogger piece, you can purchase it from joooooy.com
@@michaelruzzi31 Wow thank you for the kind words. The sound thing is a little tricky especially if you want to use your own specific sounds. Aww sadly, Jooooy is out of Fogger pieces.. Haha All the best to you and locomotive/train-set for tomorrow's BTA results.
What company is your track from? I’ve seen TrixBrix come up quite a bit but I haven’t seen curves any larger than 54 studs from them since I last checked their site You’ve got a fantastic model there. I had one of these in O gauge a while back, wish I still had it
Trixbrix has several new products now including larger curves and ballast. Most of their stuff is 3D printed however which is why I prefer BrickTracks curves and switches. They are injection molded so very similar to the stock lego track
Great Locomotive! How do you block the Buwizz unit to stop after 10 Minutes if you are using the pfx Brick for the controls? Doesn't it shut down if you dont use the app after 10 minutes?
I just leave the Buwizz app open on my phone while controlling the train via power functions remote. This also allows me to monitor the battery voltage and current draw when running the locomotive
@Mr. Greenfly the Buwizz does not turn off for me so long as the app is connected to it. I've never had any problems with it turning off on me and I've run this train in excess of 30 minutes at a time without inputs from the app.
@@michaelruzzi31 Ahh gotcha! Well ya took the idea I had a while ago, wanted to make 4449 with an accurate 1941 consist! Aside from the articulated cars, you did so! Bravo to you!
This has to be one of the best looking Lego steam locomotives I've ever seen. Incredible.
Especially as a railfan, Ome key figure behind 4449'a restoration was non other than Ross Rowland
Agreed
Why the heck doesn't Lego put out sets like this. Incredible!
To complex, non official parts, and how much money it would cost. 😃
Dude! That’s incredible! I’m glad the rods are serving you well. Good luck in the awards!

I’m amazed on how far we got with Lego trains
Dude this thing is absolutely amazing! This deserves more likes and views.

That.... ....is an insanely nice build.
This has to genuinely be the best Lego train that I have ever seen. Great job!!

WOW!!!!! You inspire me to make the MILWAUKEE ROAD HIAWATHA 1935 4-4-2 STREAMLINER CLASS A1.
Best steam train is right omg!!!!!

DAMN this is a Looker!
Lego ideas should be making this a set and give you the opportunity to bring this to the world.
This could be a Lego set
This thing is incredible!
That's some beautiful rolling stock!
If only you had access to soundtraxx blunami when you built this

Can you please add the Oscillating MARS LIGHT on the front of the locomotive 🚂 🙏, also the Rear Of the OBSERVATION CAR!!! OK. COOOL!!!!!
Wow, thats an incredible Moc, i really like the 3D printed Valve Gear!

The vaporizer is such a nice touch and great idea in general! It's much better smelling than oils 😊
Gorgeous!
beautiful model
PLEASE SELL THESE PLANS TO US!!! Your models are the best I've ever seen, I NEED THEM 😭😭😭!!!
damn thats gorgeous

Wow, that looks almost un-Lego. More Like a real model train. Great job!
_Hhooohhhhhhhhhh_ My _Goooodddd._
*it's beautiful*
edit: AFXSGBTKSPSB YOU MADE A MATCHING RAKE OF COACHES FOR IT?!?
Deserved victory!!
I love it
You should try some lights from brickloot
superb build! one of the best out there on the internet! I was wondering, how did you make the cab side door windows?
Man I so want this and I would love you to make freedom train version I have the bachmenn version
Make a tutorial on how to build it
take my money
wow incredible.. would you ever consider releasing instructions for this? I'd pay a lot to have this lol
Great build. It is possible to get a digital copy of the sticker decals you used?
I know you guys don’t make assumptions, so I’m not gonna even ask but it should be a Lego set official Lego set but anyway good build
Where can I get everything I need to make my locomotives make sound?
How much did this cost you?

White sharpie on Breckland Bricks Boxpok drivers
can you post me instructions? i'd really love to have a good looking engine. I'm currently making a Union Pacific engine!

Hello how about doing a New York Central 20th Century Limited, the 1938 Henry Dreyfuss version with the Roman fin and disc drivers?
I've thought about it but for now I'm not going to do any more passenger trains. I want to expand my freight collection first
That is incredible! How long did that take to make?
From digital design until now approximately 18 months
@@michaelruzzi31 That's crazy! You I can tell you put lots of time and effort into it. It looks great.
Coach seats look very uncomfortable.
well did you win.
how did you get the forward angle on the cab to fit with the shape of the boiler?
It doesn't, there's a slight gap but the black bricks hide it
