There was at least one more episode after this. Adam goes back to Somersett and challanges Nikolai to one on one combat for the rights of the planet. Adam wins, but he finds out the clans took all the Sommersett prisoners with them when they left, including Steiners brother (since Adam didnt mention possession of them in the "bid") I think it ends with Adam vowing to find his brother and rescue him.
In 3067 he's the head of the Otomo infantry battalion. Currently he's MIA, abducted by the Black Dragoons from what I know. Katiara Kylie: last I know she was the commander of an Aerospace fighter brigade, attached to Adams command the 14th Donegal Guards (as of 3062) Hawkins: is a liaison officer to the Star Seeds merc unit Rachel: Adams Aid Pytor: makes a book cameo EI is affecting him though (I Am Jade Falcon) Redmond: shows up in the book Operation Audacity IIRC
Agreed, it's all glamour and glory. The true sort of thing is so humble and modest one doesn't have make a big deal of it all the time. Like there's anything much like that in the violence, brutality and filth of war anyway?
Incidentally, the rebels in this episode are speculated to be the Black Dragons, who later side with Word of Blake to try once again to topple the Kuritas.
There was another episode after this. Adam goes to Sommerset and challanges Nikolai for possesion of the planet. Adam wins, but the clans take all the people from the planet with them when they withdraw, since Adam didnt say anything about who would own them in his challange.
The encounter on Turtle Bay shown here, is descripted almost exactly like the first book, Lethal Herritage, which is the introduction to the clan invasion.
actual one was a filler it was a recap of the first few episode.. it was used when the production was behind on producing the show.. the run was actual 13 episode..
18:10 And then his great-granddaughter would conveniently ignore that and take over Kurita after all the other heirs conveniently died at once during the infamous Dark Ages.
@TheFrostedLlama The series exists in-universe as a Propaganda series about actual events, and some of the character have appeared in cannon. Any errors exist to hide the truth and make the Fed Suns look better.
ALL JumpShips can jump using a pirate point - it is only that they are far too dangerous to use, that most JumpShip Captains keep to the nadir and zenith Jump Points.
My guess? It belonged to the rebels and so it was seized by the Kurita loyalists. Sort of a waste of resources from the show's perspective, they modeled, textured, and rigged up a whole new BattleMech and only used it for one episode. And in 1995 CGI software was no where near as simple or user friendly as it is today.
why do people compare this to Battletech? the cartoons play out more like a "Mechwarriors" (the RPG) campaign than that of Classic Battletech. Summerset Strikers finding SLDF base 'Camelot', Draconis princes in jeopardy and unbeknown hidden royalty in the unit WHILE on the way to save the planet Summerset...? Yaaah not very Battletech to me but VERY VERY Mechwarriors to me. (again, the Mechwarriors RPG and not the Microsoft Mechwarriors)
The Clans capture the Coordinator's GRANDson (who happened to have two siblings) and the entire Combine is threatened? Or is that just an excuse for the Black Dragons to make the Combine moronic again with their reactionary views?

just kidding. thanks a lot for uploading old VHS stuff :D missed this!
I'd love to see an updated version of this as long as they keep the music, cause I love it.

Is there a late 90's version of this show? or something similar? I remember a cartoon with mech warriors but it was more recent than this.
enjoyed this years ago. Thanks for the share.
They just don't have storys about honor anymore on cartoons!

I would love to see new animes of the grey death legion!
Actually those lasers are meant for clearing meteors. They can be used as a last-ditch weapon if necessary, however.
The encounter on Turtle Bay shown here, is descripted almost exactly like the first book, Lethal Herritage, which is the introduction to the clan invasion.
there are 14 episodes i believe, would be real cool to see the last 3..

can you please please plase upload the last three episodes? i love this series!
I used to get up at 5 am on Saturday morning to watch this.
So hey when are you going to upload the rest of the series?
yeah. Its an Hatamoto-Chi.. an 80 ton assault mech. 2 PPCs and SRM racks
Franklin became head of the Otomo IIRC. His father did acknowledge Franklin as his son and his heirs pop up in the Dark Age era.
ALL JumpShips can jump using a pirate point - it is only that they are far too dangerous to use, that most JumpShip Captains keep to the nadir and zenith Jump Points.
I love this show
Some do, but most jumpships do not. but all have anti-meteor guns, which is what they said they where in the show.
Franklin, siding with the Word? Nahh, Franklin is much too loyal to the Combine to side with the toaster worshipers.
Why did Franklin decide to leave behind the Hatamoto-Chi. That mech would've been a nice addition to the unit

Jump ships can only enter and leave a system from the nadir point of the system's sun. There are some that can pirate jump though.
This is the first episode I ever saw. That was 23 years ago. I was 6.
Heh...I was in High School when I watched this show.
are you sure its a Hotomoto-Chi?
what mech is sackamoto driveing
Yeah, I can't get enough of the opening theme either.
Why are all these episodes so low res????? Still awesome serie !
Because these were taped off TV in the days of VHS, obviously, and the show wasn't popular enough to get a rerelease in the modern day.
You're right
what worries me, is that there is entirely no intel about summersets status. that cant mean anything good.
Oh man; I never saw this episode!
Its not as easy to quickly scuttle a mech as it is a ship or tank.
so kool it bring back so many morryes.
It is a Hatamoto-Chi.

randomly exploding consoles??? What is this!? StarTrek?!
wish i could more episodes
a wizard did it
The Clans capture the Coordinator's GRANDson (who happened to have two siblings) and the entire Combine is threatened? Or is that just an excuse for the Black Dragons to make the Combine moronic again with their reactionary views?
Is that so surprising? I mean, considering most people don't know the meaning of the word anymore. :/
the time is now...7:40
to Limejello10512 no victor is the next prince of the fed com and alot of the cartoon is from cannon
Franklin should have taken over during the Jihad.
Franklin's granddaughter is now Coordinator. I'd say he did take over in a way.
I see.
Most of the mechs are ugly looking, i personally like the TimberWolf the best
You clearly do not understand Japanese Samurai codes.
Anyone else cringe when they say "Enhanced Imaging" ?lol
