Parvadhiraj Paryushan Mahaparva is an annual festival where Jains from all over the globe come together to not just celebrate just a festival of forgiving but also forgetting where each toxic negativity is converted into a postive attribute.
Paryushan is a 8 day long festival where each day a connection is built with the supreme above through various methods of penance, auspicious discourses and many more. During these eight days, all forms of vegetables and underground rooted vegetables are not consumed and majorly people practise fasting as during these 8 days, the universe experiences the highest magnitude of waves, thus making a soul vibrate the most and a put a great impact on his emotions. People only indulge in spiritual upliftement and aim at bettering themselves.
