- I present to you the wedding film of Caroline and Ian!
Before the pandemic hit, Caroline and Ian had planned a large wedding in the heart of New Orleans, but the world changed and so did their original plans. Not wanting to hold off any longer, they decided to move forward with a small, intimate wedding with close family. Their wedding wedding day is a reflection of their love for life, family and each other. I am so happy to have been apart of this special day in their lives and capturing them!

Another Killer Film man! Question: do you mic the bride? And if so, do you stick it to the inside of her dress? I've seen some guys who stick it through the dress run it down and put the wireless pack and a thigh band that holds it in place. I have a Tascam DR10-L in white I can use.
Thanks, Andrew! That is usually how I mic a bride. With this particular wedding film, I only mic’d her for her letter reading. For that, I had the photographer help me place it near the top of her right breast cup and ran the lav over her shoulder, down her back to the recorder. Her hair was helping cover the wire. 👍🏼

2:44 did you mic the bride or did use on camera mic love to know her audio so clear your work is amazing you should send your video to the wedding film school or whoismatt live stream critique
Thank you! I did mic the bride for her letter reading. I used a Lav mic plugged into a Rode Wireless Go II transmitter. With help from the from photographer, the lav is right above her right breast cup and is just hanging over her right shoulder down into the transmitter behind her. Her hair is covering up the wire 👍🏼
