I love this so much. I’ve loved lotr since I was 4 now I’m 13. I recently watched all the movies and this has to be my favourite song in the trilogy. It’s so sad and emotional. I cry most of the time.
You and me both, Lotr was part of my life for as long as I can remember. It's a token to me that I keep close to my heart, I would watch it with my late grandmother. She read the books and she thought she'd never live to see the day where they made a movie of it. But she lived through all 6 movies of Peter Jackson's middle earth and I was there with her through them all. Now I watch it in my own company and the music brings tears to my eyes because it brings back those little emotional moments I had with her, now she's gone. I would simply put it as she has sailed to the West.
May all here be blessed , this is truly a great film unites so many of us opens so many doors of emotions , I will never forget these pieces of art. Growing up I was obsessed with LOTR. I remember being 13 going to the midnight release of Return of the King on December 17, 2003. I was obsessed. And who knew that now after all of these years, I'd be talking to the love of my life with this music in the background. Fighting for the same goal that Aragorn and Arwin put their lives on the line to achieve! Victory. VICtory -- VICTORY!!!
Currently reading it whilst Covid-19 lock down began.. in March 2020. So much detail and depth, that was left out of the movies. But understandable, otherwise each movie would have been 6 hrs long.. well I wouldn’t complain. 👍
I get goosebumps from this music.. It's so beautiful.. My mind takes me to such a graceful scenery and shows me every single detail there that I want to stay forever in that place.. Furthermore, the feeling I receive is pretty rare, maybe even precious. It's hard to describe.. I can only depict the music and its emotions as if I'm engulfed by a gentle breeze and I'm wandering weightless through nature under a light blue-red yellowish sky and few veil clouds with the sun descending and a large horizon..
I lost my dad to cancer in march, I’m sorry for your loss. It seems to get harder with time. After my dad passed I had to think of my own family and to sort his affairs out. It’s only now really that it’s sunk in and feels like a big gaping hole in my chest at times. I’m happy though I got to have him for the 30 years I did and I’ll always be greatful to call him my dad ❤

Best movie trilogy in existence and I can't wait for september anymore, because my local cinema is showing all three LOTR movies in the extended cut again. Every sunday they show one movie. I have been there last year and it was the most amazing experience of my whole life when it comes to cinema. I mean, I saw all the movies in cinema as a kid, but now, with Dolby ATMOS...HOLY MOLY! Guys? If you get this chance, go and watch it in cinema and in Dolby ATMOS. It is incredible :)

To take a soldier's life, destroy a family's pride and hearts somewhere in the world. What once was theirs, gone and never to come home safe and sound like he had promised. The lives of those in the crossfire, forever changed by the trauma of losing their homes, or their loved ones to stray fire... all of their money... belongings... their lives... indirectly halted and put to an end prematurely. No... money isn't the price of war. It's the guilt that a man or woman must endure for taking the obligation, and the duty, as a soldier, to stand up and fight for their nation, because others are too afraid to, or just plain can't. Only a soldier may understand a soldier's pain. May understand their thoughts, and may understand their feelings.

You say that, and yet I can say without a doubt. Was it worth it for soldiers to fight and die to defeat Nazi Germany? Yes. Most defiantly. War is not always about hate, wars are sometimes fought for just reasons, for right reasons. And In a way, all war is just in the eyes of the ones fighting it.
