Hey Tony, thanks for the video, I found it super helpful! To be honest, you've been talking about spirituality for years, but I've always watched the videos just for the ASMR, and didn't think too much about the spiritual aspects. But now in this time with the pandemic, it's been more difficult for me mentally, and I've started to find messages in there that help me, so I wanna say thank you for that. I guess everyone can just choose to which extent they want to participate in spirituality, and that's okay. I'm gonna check out some of these books you recommended!
I will definitely look for those Brownstein books. If you liked "Personality Plus," you should read "Please Understand Me II" by David Keirsey. It's short but really good. Also, I recommend a book called "A Jane Austen Education" by William Deresiewicz and "How to Read Literature Like a Professor" by Thomas C. Foster. I noticed you didn't have any literary fiction titles on your list, but good quality fiction can really help you grow as person and also spiritually. "A Jane Austen Education" is basically a memoir of how reading Austen's novels changed the author's entire outlook on life. Really powerful stuff. (And if it inspired you to read Austen, my favorite of her books was "Persuasion"). In the spiritual book genre, I recommend "Embracing Uncertainty: Breakthrough Methods for Achieving Peace of Mind When Facing the Unknown" by Susan Jeffers, and "Mindful Tarot: Bring a Peace-Filled Compassionate Practice to the 78 Cards" by Lisa Freinkel Tishman. Success books I recommend: "Your Network is Your Net Worth" by Porter Gale, "9 Things You Simply Must Do To Succeed in Love and Life" by Henry Cloud (the book also comes with a bonus seminar on DVD), and "Relationship Strategies: The E & P Attraction" by John G. Kappas (I got my hypnotist certificate through HMI, and this is one of the best books by the founder of that system of hypnotherapy).
