This chicken curry is a traditional bengali chicken curry ,you can serve this chicken curry with steamed rice or roti etc.
Ingredients :
Marination -
Chicken - 1.2 kg
Little salt
Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
Curry -
Mustard oil - 4-5 tbsp
Potato - 2(optional)
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Bay leaf - 1
Dry red chilli - 1
Cardamom - 3
Clove - 3-4
Cinnamon stick
Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
Finely chopped onion - 5-6
Ginger garlic green chilli paste - 4 tbsp
Tomato - 2
Red chilli powder (kashmiri)- 1 tbsp
Coriander powder - 1 tbsp
Cumin powder - 1/2 tbsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Water for gravy
Salt to taste
Garam masala - 1 tsp
Slited green chilli - 3-4
Coriander leaves
