I just watched an install video for a Yamaha top box and it doesn't have the 2bars that hold up the rear of the Shad box. If I put a top box on I will go with a Yamaha box as it makes for a cleaner look, and needs no drilling on the plastic up front.
Nice video. I recently fitted the Yamaha carrier and it was much easier. I belive the Yamaha topbox is also made by Shad.
do you recommend the original carrier or the givi as yours?
I think this mount is way lighter and cheaper than the yamaha bracket but harder to install due to the drilling on the fairings.
You also get better top box options. The yamaha top boxes are ugly.
Seems like it would be a lot easier to install a rear carrier in place of the grip bars. Though you'd be spending like $160+ on those.
Thats the OEM yamaha mount. I didnt get that because the Yamaha top boxes are ugly AF

Install maybe easier but yamaha top boxes are ugly. You can also use the Shad/Givi top boxes on your other scooters/bikes
Looks good mate, check out the Givi SR2136 for Yamaha XMAX. It looks sick, but hard to get. How many liters does the SH39 have?

So how expensive is original carrier and box that you decided to buy and install this? How much have you saved if I may ask?
Bought the kit in amazon for however much they are charging for it and the box was only $80.
Why not bigger than sh39?
I got this one brand new for 80 bux shipped.
