Haters always fall back that "they don't play anybody argument" and then they do it in the NFL too. They said the same thing about James Houston at Jackson State now he's leading all NFL rookies in sacks, and he's only played 6 games, and limited snaps in those games.
Maaan, watch this kid put on even just a little bit of muscle and be an absolute demon in the secondary. I see a bright future ahead for this young man. Grats to the jets.
He doesn’t need to put on weight, he’s already strong, very few Wrs will be able to press him at the line, maybe like a medcaft (spelling), but more weight equals slower… he runs a 4.4 40, no need to mess with that….
Would love to see Travis Jones. I’ve seen him go in the first round in mocks, and Draft Buzz has him in the 4th round. That’s the widest gap of anyone I’ve looked at.
I don’t claim to be a professional or someone that knows a lot. But, I’ve played years of offensive line and defensive line. I’ve watched hours of oline and dline technique videos. As a student of the game and self proclaimed “analyst” I’ve watched hours upon hours of film through the end zone view. I’ve watched all the senior practices and broke down one on ones. Travis Jones in any other year would be getting mid first round hype. But because Jordan Davis exist he’s not. Travis jones is a specimen. He is probably the 3rd best d tackle in this draft. I’d say Davis and Wyatt are one and two respectively. But Jones is a best. He demands double teams and even then eats them up. He doesn’t have a large toolbox of pass rush moves but he has a solid bull rush with a good push pull move. He is a excellent gap defender. Like I said he demands a double team. He is a one tech only player. But does have a ras (raw athletic score) of 9.4 out of 10. This is excellent. He is a late first to early mid second rounder. Put that round 4 talk to rest now.
@@taylorgresham3885 I already have put that to rest. Just pointed out what a draft sight said. My guess is they didn’t do one tenth the amount of studying on him as you did. Personally, I think he goes top 40, and I would love to have him.
4.4 40… yeah he can get to the qb pretty quickly lol considering he’s running about 10 yards roughly from the snap to get to the QB it’s roughly 1.1 seconds of time that the qb has to throw, (little more since start up is slower then full sprint), but it’s under 2 seconds of time…. Crazy when you think about that.
Glad the Jets got a talented kid. Now I hope they can get him to think about football once in a while, he seems more focused on his chain and nickname.
Dude, his nickname was given to him by his football coach when he was 9 years old. Chill out with your preachin…they’re all there to celebrate. You have no source on his mindset, smh
@@Pango5697 I did like the awkwardness of his interview with the “sideline” lady. Her vibe was like “well I don’t get what the hell you’re talking about, enjoy whatever silly shit you’re into, I hope you play the fuck out some football.” That’s essentially where I am with it.
I am not saying Sauce is going to be bad. I just see so many gimme plays and a lot of plays that would likely be PI or completions in the NFL. I get coaches are there for a reason but I think the hype may have gotten a bit too big with him.
@@T-Bone-nk1ng I like Stingley more because of the elite ball skills and the ability to force turnovers. NFL corners get beat so many times just because they dont turn to look for the ball.
I know your comment is old but the reason for the bad passes other than it being college is because the qb is forcing passes to the teams best wide out that Sauce has taken out of the game.
Born August 31, 2000. Played high school football for the Martin Luther King Crusaders (MI). Played college football for the Cincinnati Bearcats. Drafted #4 overall by the New York Jets. Who knows? Maybe he can start a new New York Sack Exchange.

No way man. Bro I just came here cause my boys are trying their best to convince me on Sauce "BUT" for the 7th pick, not the 5th. Maybe after taking a look at him if Devin Lloyd is gone yes, no brainer at 7. I hear also that he fits Winks system like a glove. But for five we have to take care of that O-Line man. Enough is enough already. We'll just end up going backwards again. Let's get Okwon, or Neal and rap this shit up.
Cincinnati CB Ahmad “Sauce” Gardner is currently the consensus No. 1 corner in this year’s draft. There’s a legitimate chance that he’s drafted in the top 5. He played 3 years of football. Didn't allow a TD. This highlight video is awfully short for a 3 year college career. That means he didn't have many highlights because QB's weren't throwing his way. That's the sign of a lockdown corner.
I agree totally except he's not a great corner. The Jets won't pick up his fifth year option. You heard it here first. He may get traded before his contract is up actually.
@@ydzi7537 Wdym "not a great corner" the dude didn't allow a TD on college and played teams like Notre Dame, UCF (when the offense was fire), and Alabama. Even UGA let Bama throw better than Gardner and Co. did
