I remember people calling the Blazers the greatest 8th seed in NBA history and that they were gonna sweep the Lakers. Rockets were also the favorite to win over them in the 2nd round. Then Lakers won the whole thing and the same people started calling it the easiest ring in LeBron's career aka Mickey Mouse Ring. Can't make this shit up. No wonder LeBron started talking about "respect" in his Finals MVP speech. That dude was disrespected during their whole championship run.

@@JKlutz3 facts, not just him tho. AD and Bron needed to be a half-step/full-step better than they were. It was the late game execution that was killing us, which is why I'm glad we had this tourney to get some reps.
People also don't realize that the Lakers were just flat out gassed. Not making excuses, but they were in "Playoff Mode" since Feb and had to exert A LOT to even make the Play-In. And many of our guys weren't built for deep Playoff runs,
AR even said during the Warriors series that he was exhausted. His first Playoff debut, ppl forget we didn't have a lot of advantages against the Nuggets but we were still competitive.

Thanks for uploading this was amazing to see again. You can really see Lebron play has not changed he just playing a bit smarter today with age. And man AD! Wow I see why they want him to shoot more 3s it really spread the floor. But of course that 2020 team was a beast with lots of talent and bigs to help AD so I feel the Lakers team now has AD working a little harder than he had to when Javel and Dwight was there and that's the difference and also it was AD first Finals so his play was a bit more motivating. I hope Bron can get a 5th this year also but I feel Lakers are still one piece away although it can happen with this team, the young players just really have to focus and listen to Bron and play extremely hard.
This year AD was the best player Lebron ever played with that could match a prime Pipoen.. And the results was a dominate 2020 season start to finish!!

Ppl underrated how LeBron took it over to turn that Houston series over by himself after the Lakers down 1-0. Guarding Harden by himself, scoring 29 first half pts in game 3 to keep the game close while Houston was on fire. That series turned to end until Danuel House been found out having sexual relationship with the massage lady in the bubble.
I miss this Lakers team. This team was fun to watch and it was obvious that they were having fun playing for each other as well. Our defense was the best in the league while also having one of the best offense in the league.
This man actually played an entire series against Russ and saw “it” firsthand…and still advocated for his team to get him.

They lost to the Suns because the entire team shot horribly from 3 and they overloaded on Lebron completely disregarding everyone else. Westbrook wasn't going to fix that
