- HistCite can be downloaded at researchhub.or...
→HistCite short course at researchhub.or...
.
If you fail to upload your ISI Web of Science textfile, please do the following: "Open your "Internet Explorer" - go to "Internet Option" - click "Security"- click "Custom"- scroll down and find the "Include local directory path When uploading files to a server" (it is quite a ways down) - click on "Enable" . Now run HistCite again and it should work.
If you do not know how to prepare citation data for use in HistCite, please see our video "Bibliometric Citation Analysis (6): Extracting Bibliography Data from Web of Science database".
Here, some basic citation analysis techniques are demonstrated using the HistCite software.

I have a question:
In document type; i want to focus separately in articles, reviews etc.
For example i have 150 record but articles are 100; and I want to know in 100 articles which journal have published max number.
How to find this
Hello, could you upload a video explaining how to make graphics like the one shown in 4:40 ? I have tried to replicate something similar and I am not able to. Greetings and thanks for these videos about HistCite!
Please I'm a little confused about how to build clusters: collect items that are close together? or collect co-cited articles? or read all the articles? I know that reading the articles is incomparable with the other methods but just I want to understand when to apply each of these techniques?
I recommend "bibliographic coupling" for clusters. Use vosviewer for clustering (th-cam.com/video/nLBEU2Tul9Q/w-d-xo.html). It is totally fine to use two methods in a study.
Awesome. Thank you a lot.
thank you very much, I have a question (how I collect the constructs that has been used in the articles? )
Can you please elaborate on what do you mean by collecting constructs from the articles?
I cannot download Histcite from its website. Can anyone help me in this regard to download and install the software

Hello. I have a question about extracting data. Is there any way to extract yearly citations for a lot of data into CSV file from Google Scholar?
Try publish and perish software.
@@RESEARCHHUB publish or perish didn't work for me. I want the number of citations year by year separately for any article. Someting like citation report in WOS or Scopus. I will be greatfull if you help me.
