I like how this fight ended. Finral never claims to be better or stronger than his brother, but instead acknowledges his own weaknesses and mistakes. Him punching Langris wasn't some fit of rage "wake up, you louse" moment. He just wanted to get through to his brother and tell Langris that he will always care about him (even if the creep deserves to kicked out of the knights).
I blame the elf soul and his parents he became like most nobles thinking there better then the common people due to there magic. I accually feel sorry for him being kept in his room forced to study and not have fun.

That said, it's no excuse for the disregard for civilians he showed when first introduced or being willing to kill Asta and other Black Bulls when they call him out (I know the elf persona might have been influencing him a bit on that last one, but it's hard to tell)

Said parents were always putting down Finral, yet other nobles were praising him for being a decent fellow with amazing social skills. Langris was powerful. His entire family praised him for that, even Finral himself. But to everyone else, while strong, he was too much of a jerk to be remotely approachable, in contrast to the much more sociable and amiable Finral. The contradiction has messed with him for years, as he was the only one who could see that there was an issue. And because no one else saw a problem, there has been little to no attempts at properly dealing with it, allowing his more negative traits to fester and worsen, until they reached critical mass during the tournament when Finral began keeping up with him in a fight and Asta and Zora called him out once more on his detestable personality. After this moment, Finral now sees where his weaknesses were as a brother, and is now taking steps to amend it.

Also, I personally like to think that when Finral says, “Sorry I took so long,” it shows how much his abilities have grown in comparison to his “prodigy” brother.
I'm really here for the consistency in the art style since last week, I wasn't expecting crazy animation but it was good. They have big fights coming up so they have to prioritize.

They did justice with Finral punching with the white manga design, but that only fully works if the punch has *ALOT* of impact and opening 1 needs to be played.
Even if his little brother treats him like ***t and looks down on him , Finral will always care and love Langris . If that's not silbings love ,i don't know what it is . Also Langris seems to be envious of his big brother's kindness and deep down looks up to him . Loved the OST ,nice job Pierrot ,i'm regaining some of my faith on y'all slowly but surely.

I've always loved these 2 when they're together and I really hope there are more good moments between them in the future. Maybe like them teaming up and fighting together or just brotherly bonding would be nice.
I love that they made the episodes action scenes the manga panel shots, it's just like reading the manga but with colour and voice actors. It's better then forcing horrible stiff animation imo.

However, because of his magic being so powerful thus never having to worry about physical confrontations, Langris is even *more* so. Enough for Finral, who's been through his share of grueling battles with his self-admitted 'weak magic' to KO him with a single punch.
Literally one of my favorite fights from the manga, loved the pacing and the intense feel of the fight with jack and yami flying all over the place. One of the fights I really wanted them to do justice to but eh it is what it is
Despite what Captain Yami says about Finral stealing the spotlight, he really cares for him and his growth as a magic knight and as a person. I have a feeling Captain Yami only said that to cover for the fact, the battle can only be ended between the two brothers.
