your vlogs are making me less anxious about doing vlogs myself. you're so open and honest and candid and show parts of your life that i would be so scared to, and it makes me feel like it's normal to be scared about it, so i don't need to be ashamed, but also that i don't need to be scared. i like your videos.
aw I’m so glad they help you feel a little less anxious!!🥹🫶 It was definitely something I was scared of at the beginning - being so vulnerable online and knowing that people I know (and people I work with lmao) might see, but honestly being able to be so open in such a public way has been so freeing to feel less afraid of being myself in every aspect of my life. It totally normal to be scared, but you can definitely do it❤️
I love captions because the ambient noise is always soothing, but I also tend to do work while watching artists vlogs so voiceovers are better to catch important information haha. either or I love! but the voiceovers tend to be more helpful 🫶 love the video!
Omg I feel you when it comes to self worth and loving yourself. Learning that your worth doesn't come from status or how much you make is tough. Your words really touched me.
Thank you for sharing this, it’s so valuable to see we all have these feelings. I love how you are taking time to feel your feelings ❤ Also loved the idea of your personal sketchbook.
I discovered you today! I love that you are open about your mental health! Also, I am so here for the long vlogs! Your art is inspirational and Feliz Cumpleaños!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉
i love the shots you took on the fuji! somewhere down the line, i want to be able to have one myself. im happy to see the updates of your shop. the postcards are SO cool! i also love your exploration of some of your work being less refined. im always inspired by artists who have raw edge to what they do. i also think when you allow yourself to be looser with what you do you can create something beautiful! especially if you've been doing this for a really long time, you do not have to be bound to the confines of "polished" and "perfect" because (at least to me) there's too much time being spent in the weeds of technique. trust yourself! let it flow! see what happens! your art is already so beautiful, i think there will be a beautiful evolution for you as you continue to practice art for your sake and not for anyone else. great video as always!! and i hope to nab a postcard when your shop relaunches. ♥
aaa thank you sm! I used to love shooting film (before it all got so expensive🥲) so I’m so happy to have this next best thing with digital🫶 thank you sm for your kind words🥹 I’ll keep doing my best!🙏❤️
Happy Late Birthday! Today is my birthday, so thank you for uploading this today! Watching you learn how to love and express yourself more is so inspiring! I hope every day can feel like it's your birthday
I just came across your channel! And I love your art shop series! I was just wondering how long of a gap should we have new products? I always stress myself out about coming up with new products constantly 😢
aw welcome!!🫶 there really aren’t any rules - litchrally since I closed my shop last december I’m just now ramping up to open up again. 3 months is a long gap to stay closed but I didn’t want to force myself to adhere to any opening schedule or anything when I was busy dealing with other life/work things. I think if you’re just starting out, find a good tempo that works for you and whatever is going on in your life, and maybe start to thinking about implementing a opening/product release schedule once your shop becomes a bigger part of your life and you can afford to spend more time/energy on it - that’s what I’m planning on doing anyways🌱🙏
Great video again! Also what ever song was playing around the 5:45 mark was sending me. ((In a good way.) I'm just curious to the song's name. Really glad to see you put in the effort to notice how your audience is responding to watching your long-form content. Thanks for the vibes yet again!!
TY!!!🙏🙏 ummm the song in the bg right at 5:45 is Buyer’s Remorse by Daniel Caesar, or if you meant the song playing after i finish talking, that’s Chanel by Mr. Frank Ocean🫡
i’ve finally been able to sit down and watch this!! i love your videos and your art so so much!! i have to ask, what was the procreate brush you were using to draw the butterflies on the back of the postcard design at 24:25? i’ve been searching for a good pencil texture brush ❤
aww thank you for watching!!🫶 it’s just the procreate HB Pencil! I duplicated it and increased the max size so i can get the texture nice n thick if I want - I use it alll the time
i just found you now and i'm already in love with your style! ALSO would like to know what brush what used in 34:02 of the video?? :) i also have an inconsistent art style which makes it hard for me to create something but seeing how you approach the "process" of making art, it made me more confident in putting out what i love and feel like doing!
aaa thank you!!!🥹🫶 that is a Princeton Aqua-elite Round #8 - I just picked it up randomly at an art supply store and its become my fav one to use! best of luck with your art journey! lean into what you love❤️
