If indeed extremely rare, just so you know what led me here is a RA-990 for sale on eBay right now (Aug 28 '21). Very similar, same beautiful display. Says 'Not Fully Tested" but looks quite nice.

It seemed similar enough to where I thought it was worth mentioning. Reading back, I think maybe my comment came off wrong. @@Rompler_Rocco i'm the who needs to be corrected as i just checked e-bay and there are 3 -900's , 3-990's , 4 700's and 2-500's up sale at the moment and there for the longest time there were none what so ever and now they'''re coming out wood work. imagine that.the difference between 900 and a990 is the990 has two mic/line inputs on the front where as the 900 only has one..and don't feel bad , we can't know everything !! cheers and have your self a good day !!
does sound better with less melodic sources as the bass and kick in music excites the springs a tad to much although some percussion stuff sounds great as i just so happen to have one of these units along with pioner sr 303and technics sh 8040!

Son diferentes, el ecualizador regula frecuencias de sonido (Hz o kHz).. el reverberador hace efecto de eco... da la impresión que desdobla la onda sonora como si fuera eco.
It adds reverberation cues of input signal,in effect echo,and tube warm sound get enhanced. As secret we have to use it in modern days with CD player to get top notch performance with rational settings....
I could get this just for the pretty colours. But you can also close your eyes and imagine you are in a huge space.
and good luck on finding one as they are hard to come and are rarely on sale on ebay as to where i bought mine
