i love how her kid interrupts her videos and she's okay with that, she just lets it happen and interacts with him when he asks for her, checks if he needs help and responds accordingly when he does. like, i remember being a kid and being riddled with anxiety at the idea of asking for my parents' help with anything when they happened to be in the middle of something - even if they were just watching a movie - because they would get so annoyed with me. took years before i unlearned the habit. the food content is great (and i can't get over her humour! "that's my scorpio son, don't mind him" lmaoooo) but it's also oddly therapeutic to see her Mom & Son back-and-forth.
As a child of immigrant parents, there were a lot of scenarios that made me bottle up a lot of anxiety and tension over time that I just had to "suck it up" just because everybody else was at the time as well. So for me to see parents of young children, 1st generation (or more) Asian-Americans in particular, nowadays catch that and truly be the change they like to see is really cathartic for me and warms my little Asian American heart 🥰🥰🥰 🥲 happy tears 🥲 happy tears🥲

I just love the interaction with the children and mixing both of their languages and she is such a chill mama I just watched the one in the restaurant and for some reason I wasn’t able to comment but I really wanted to be how freaking bad ass she handled eating in a restaurant with an infant and a toddler and the babies were so just chill I mean she’s doing everything right in my opinion. Their ice is the cheapest I've ever seen for the size of the bag you get! We liked their sandwiches. We love Buccee's! It's a "Gastination" girl! Make sure you check out their car wash also, lol. I got the sausage sandwich and it was DELICIOUS. It had no mayo or veggies in it which I NEED in my sandwiches bc then they are too dry. It was just the sausage, sauce and bun...BUT IT WAS BOMB AND NOT DRY AT ALL. AAANNNDDDD it wasn't as heavy as I thought it would be. That place is amazing. Totally worth the hype and price imo.
Please do more of these videos. I used to live in Pearland Texas for 3 years and I didn't take advantage of the delicious food there!. My favorite thing to order from a near by shop was a loaded potato with chopped beef. The potato was huge!

Hiii! Happy to see a longer video! Next time you go to Buc ee's- now listen to your YT auntie- go to the jerky COUNTER and try FREE samples of any and all of the jerky you want. It's like a deli counter and fresher than the jerky already packaged. Ask them their most popular flavors and just get them. Those BBQ sandwiches are everything and right next to them is a heat lamp with freshly fried potato chips. Eat the chips asap because they need to be eaten hot, I eat them while I shop or get them when I'm ready to check out and eat them in the car, they don't last. Now, I'll keep it short for the next items- Buc ee's nuggets in the bag, Buc ee's nugget cookies in the plastic tub, the food counter with all kinds of food and other kinds of custom order sandwiches, HUGE drinks for less than a Buc (see what I did there ;)?) Don't hesitate to use the restrooms, they pride themselves with clean restrooms. Buc ee's "O's" in different flavors, they're like Funyuns in different flavors. Whatever they have at the different counters is going to be better freshly made than the package. The make your own coffee bar, nuff said. Have fun it's Yum-eee!

I live about 2 miles from Bucees, and the first time I went was last Sunday. Bought the Beaver Nuggets, enjoyed them, but probably wouldn’t buy them again. By the way, the brisket is cooked/smoked elsewhere and delivered to the stores.
Texas beef jerky is extra dried. My understanding is that it was originally used for long cattle drives across the country. The more moisture removed, the longer it lasted and the less it weighed down the wagon. The way to eat is to pull a part off and put in in the side of your mouth and slowly let it hydrate.
I recently went there and I loved it! I got brisket too it was delicious, loved the souvenirs but very expensive! I m from Alabama and never heard of the place but I felt like I was on vacation. Fun fun 🤩
