Single father..carried both responsibilities of mother n father 😣😣 ... Hats off to his father.. struggled the most.. Prithvi should learn being more humble n chase the dream hi dad has seen. Getting out playing stupid shots at national team, when there is a list of A class young player waiting for debute is dangerous for his future.
Prithvi is what he is only bcz of his dad's sacrifice and support.Such a gem of a personality his dad is.All respect to you sir.
I hope Prithvi never disappoints his dad whether it's about his on the field attitude or off the field attitude towards his life and profession.

I hv played with prithvi in a academy by pingulkar sir in virar. I was 15, he was 5. But we were astonished to see him. He at 5 knew which ball to hit for long -on, cover at that age. I was a fast bowler but use to bowl at slow pace to him. He use to hit the ball cleanly with the middle of bat. I left cricket, but always use to think about him. Now after so many years saw him playing for the country. Loved his dad enthusiasm. I think it was her mother's blessing or some spiritual care that made everybody look at him. He was special. I wish he becomes tendulkar and not kambli.

I live in Virar and Prithvi Shaw used to live in paranjape colony where my few school classmates friends live even today. They used to tell us back in 2006-07 that ek baccha season ball se cricket khetla hai, ekdum chotasa hai. They used to proudly tell us in school about Shaw🇮🇳🙂

His dad has worked very hard for him. Its not easy to raise a kid alone for anybody, but especially a man, because usually for a man its difficult to have that maternal instinct as well as culinary skills.
The relationship between father and son is truly beautiful! This little champion of India, now with the problems behind him, is going to be the next Sachin Tendulkar for us, for our beloved country. Of this I have no doubt whatsoever...simple soul, hardworking and a brilliant talent. Great program 🙏🇮🇳

Imo, he is a great player but not a good captain
He has won a series in Australia and importantly has backed fast bowlers.
Dhoni was a great odi/ t20 captain but never that good of a test captain. The drubing India received in England and Australia, no tesr captain of India received as Dhoni. Dhoni is a humble person, an inspirational leader but that shouldn't mask his weakness as test match captain, in test matches he showed lack of intent and ran out of ideas and often fielded defensive tactics.
It’s so easy to criticize these new generation cricketers and call them spoilt.But the amount of dedication and sacrifice that goes behind in reaching this position is next level .All the episodes of the spicy pitch series is definitely an eye opener.Thank u team.Keep up the good content.

Rohit and Dhawan are not going anywhere till 2023. and even if Dhawan fades away by that time, Rahul will be preferred as opener while Gill will most probably be slotted in middle order.
But, i feel both Shaw and Gill should be regular in playing XI for test matches.

I loved his debut,

There is cricket documentary on Netflix “Beyond all Boundaries “. There is segment on Prithvi shaw , he was just 12/13 years old at that time. Many experts said he will be next big thing in Indian cricket and i am sure he will. His dad’s efforts and dedication is tremendous.
