At 25:00, Saad is surprised to see Fiza back in their room. Im sure he wasn't expecting that. At 25:25 Saad asks Fiza if she has decided to come back to him as he sees her putting her clothes back in her wardrobe. There is still so much harshness in Fiza's heart at 25:28 as she tells Saad to get it out if his mind that she will ever come back to him and that she is only doing this for their daughter Maryam. OUCH!! From 25:44 - 25:54, Fiza tells Saad that she will accept him as a husband even though it is unwillingly, just for for the sake of her daughter Maryam to become normal. It shows how much helpless she us as a mother. The truth about her husband has broken her very badly. It makes me feel very sad for her. From 27:40 - 28:06, the way Saad tells Fiza that "things look good if they are where they belong, just like this pillow". This really melted my heart because (from my understanding) he truly wants to be with her and loves her very much. It is like he is telling her that she belongs only to him, beside him. *****THE CONFESSION***** From 28:22 - 28:32, the way Saad slowly walks to Fiza, head hung down, shows me his heart is full of shame and guilt and is truly repentant of his sin towards her. Finally from 28:40 - 32:12, the way he gently turns Fiza towards him and pours his heart out to Fiza, and reveals to her what is in his heart. He tells her the following things: 1) He was afraid to lose her. It feels as if his breaths will stop if he even thinks of losing her. All his life he has loved no one but her. 2) The gifts he used to collect in his wardrobe were only for her, but never had the courage to give them to her. He wanted to give them to her as a surprise on the day they married and she was officially his. But unfortunately she was with Ashar those days. 3) what he was thinking when he carried out that horrendous act with her that fateful night. He revealed his insecurities here that when he found out she loved Ashar, the ground beneath his feet slipped. 4) Why he did what he did until he kneels at her feet in front of her, finally melting her to the point that she forgives him. She says to him that "no matter what happened that fateful night, he is her husband now and for the sake of Allah she has forgiven him. Fate has made him her protector so she has to honour that". She hold his arm and helps him up. To me it is like she has given closure to his guilt and wants to move on. When he kneels in front of her, that to me was the final stage of his repentance. He has been brought down to his knees under the burden if his guilt and is now on the way to redemption. He is now out of the guilt which was killing him every second. Finally, at when they enter the lounge room as a couple, Fiza's mother smiles at them and tells them that this is a new beginning. It is like the sunshine and happiness has returned in their own home". I really felt that. Saad tells his mother in law that "dua (supplication) can change things"....... She replies by saying "yes it can change things. This time duas have brought the change which my eyes pined to see (Saad and Fiza together)". So it is like duas here have finally been answered. Allah (swt) has answered everyone's duas.
