I think both would work really well with this group, however, The Weekend's overall concept, music style and international acceptance works with SuperM's sound, look and image. It could really work.

It’s only the BIG companies “thing”. As BTS stepped into Western market and made kpop well known, YG expands their opportunities in US too by using Blackpink. And now SM doesn’t want to lose to them, so they’re putting out this SuperM group to especially promote in America hoping to collab with some artists to boost their fame. Of course, this doesn’t apply to kpop groups from smaller companies. They just came, held concerts here, did their thing and went back without promoting.
Maria Xian that’s the only thing I don’t like about SuperM, I liked their mini album, but the reason they were made as a group was just to rival BTS. Take the top favorite members from the different groups, and put them together. Out of nowhere they suddenly get promoted on Ellen, Jimmy Kimmel, or Fallon sorry I forget, and it’s like woah, obviously BTS paving the way is so that other groups have chances, but like I think that Nct127, or Exo should be getting promoted not SuperM
@@beboy97 i know right. Somehow, they are even said to be nominated in this year Grammys along with BP and BTS. I was like "Wait, hold up! What the heck. Aren't they still a rookie group?". Apart from them being the "popular" members of their groups, Capitol Records play a huge role too. That's how they were able to get on all these American talk shows and variety shows. I mean take Ellen show for example. Ellen never deliberately sends out invitation to kpop groups unless they are super massive. It was Capitol who asked Ellen to let them appear on her show. That is the power of the western label. I don't know about how good SM is at group comeback promotions compared to other Big 3. But one thing for sure, SM is best at marketing and branching its connections in business aspects.
EXO was very popular before BTS, but honestly their fame is fading because of SM with their half-ass promotion and rarely gives them a comeback. Plus, the members are enlisting. For NCT, I think that their music is a BIG hit or miss as they only release experimental tracks. It's not the type of music you listen day to day. They had huge success with Cherry Bomb and Regular, but not as much with Superhuman and Simon Says. And their latest comeback is just "so so". People raved for Kick it and Punch when it came out and it was trending all over the internet. But it died down so quick, faster than I can even fall, like no one is playing at mall or on radio or on streets. And they are already 4 years into the industry, so SM must've given up and let them do their own thing. Don't get me wrong; I like that they are free and they can create their individual artistic musicality in their own styles even if they can't get very big.
@@beboy97 EXO target market is in Asia especially in China and Korea, thats why they have a huge stable FB in China and Korea, so even us Ls are doubting that SM will let them promote in the US or other western countries, and that is also why Ls are doing their best to promote EXO on the western countries through radio station or TV station, awards that have a price of promoting EXO in the western (like The time square, subway ads, etc)

And for 6 years they've been bringing the story up whenever he has a comeback, each time changing the story and adding more details to it. And ofc, other haters and antis just didn't care and use the false rumors to hate and cuber bully him. He's been tormented for 6 years, but recently more proof that the story is fake started to come around. And finally Dispatch did a lot of digging and released bunch of proof that TY is innocent and SM is going to sue everyone who is talking bad about him.

NCT 127 - Mad City and NCT U- Yestoday are two songs that Taeyong wrote (Mark wrote his own parts) about his past and the struggles he has gone through and are both very personal to him. Taeyong is such a sweet and talented guy that carries the weight of the world on his shoulders. He's NCT 127 leader, main rapper, main dancer, writes a lot of their songs and sometimes composes.He works so freaking hard and goes out of his way to take care of all his NCT members as much as he can. I hope SM will really take action against all the hate and bs he's gone through for 6 years and hopefully he can heal and get better and we can see his normal happy goofy self.
