This was the first James Bond movie I ever saw, early 1970's. Sean Connery for me, was the best James Bond. Great review.

The first Bond movie I saw was Goldfinger. When I later saw Dr No and From Russia with Love, I had thought that From Russia with Love was the first Bond film because it lacked the stylistic villain and glitz of Dr No. They oddly seemed out of sequence because Russia with love was much less flashy, and the progression otherwise was very linear with Goldfing stepping up the villian and the glitz (Aston Martin) and Thunderball (Disco Vilante). You Only Live Twice put outer space and a volcano base into the mix.

To me Casino Royal is an time classic & Daniel Craig is the best & most dangerous James Bond till date. 👍 Cheerrrzzz!!! 🙏
