Never really thought Nia was very good and always wondered why the pushed her so hard. I put her in the same category as the great Kahli and Omos. Big wrestlers that Vince wanted to push with terrible in ring skills.
In a no way is this an L. If you want edgy and regular violence, AEW provides that alternative. WWE is delivering consistently with its current TV rating and has chosen when to be bolder when necessary.
say what you want about nia jax.. but she actually looks like a throwback womans wrestler. not like a lot of the women they bring in who are built like a twig and are not believable in the least. nia looks like she could deal an asswhooping more than the average gal. and she can cut a promo and get heat. isnt that what pro wrestling is all about? cutting promos, drawing crowd reaction, looking the part? not every successful pro wrestler could go like bret hart in the ropes.
Agreed. If you want a textbook example of why Nia was brought back, go back and watch her with Jade Cargill at the Royal Rumble this past year. Nia's size made Jade look like an absolute beast in the way she was so easily able to handle her. Same thing with Rhea giving Nia a riptide. Nia can make other talent look like beasts in a way nobody else on the roster can.
I think he will be as well but not sure if it’s just an appearance or actual match. Could see him costing Cody the WWE Championship and leads to a match at Summerslam.
"Huge L"? Man, you guys are the kings of hyperbole. Even if the WWE plans to keep the show family friendly, that still doesn't mean they won't deviate from the format as has been done in the past.

LOL are you beyond ignorant. Yokozuna's finishing move was to "sit down on opponents". She also does have moves in the ring with her leg drops, Samoan drops, Avalanches, and other power moves. Also, she got released by WWE once despite being related to The Rock so we can throw that BS out too. Try again.
@@eudarriusthomas8470 Not to mention that Rock never made any noise about it. They had no problem releasing her and he certainly didn't make a stink about it. Hard to say Rock has such control when she was so coldly released.
The simple fact is that running a TV-PG format covers everything WWE needs to do from a storyline presentation. This gives us the best 14-40 demographic. While leaving younger kids, the option to watch with parents. On a side note, some of Disney's top shows are shot in a TV-14 format so it's not over the edge to use a TV-14 format for RAW.
Dominic Mysterio said it best. It's okay if some violent stuff happens here or there, like an occasional nip slip or someone getting busted open every now and then, but doing it constantly on a weekly basis or more will make it stale. To paraphrase

That's a you problem. WWE isn't doing it to appease you, they're doing it to make money, and their money makers are investors, partnerships, and sponsorships, not the fans. While they do pump money into it, we're a small fraction of their revenue
@ ok maybe it is a “me” problem that don’t mean I hate WWE as a whole. I’m just saying because in the last decade we had some poorly done segments and shitty bookings when VKM was still around. But now that he’s gone the WWE can go back to what we had back then it’d be wasted potential if they stayed PG. I’m sick of the constant censorship it’s bullshit.
Why are you so insistent on PG-14 content? As you said, Netflix depends on ad revenue, and all it would take is one or two F-bombs for these ad companies to start pulling out.

Bad words and violence does not automatically make the show better. Vulgarity for the sake of it, or because "we're allowed to" just diminishes the value of it.
I believe if something isn’t broken, there’s no need to fix it. Keep things the way they’ve been working for the audience. A little profanity is fine as long as it’s not excessive. As for the blood scenes, it’s okay to include them, but they shouldn’t be too intense or frightening for younger viewers. The key is to strike a balance so that fans of all ages can enjoy the product. That way, you know it’s truly working.
I don't see that as an L. They are working very well within a family friendly frame work and using blood sparingly makes it mean more when it happens. They don't need to be swearing all the time either. Even in the attitude era, wrestlers didn't swear as much as they do now.
Were people expecting WWE to become Game of Thrones or something when it got to Netflix? Why the hell would WWE switch up their approach when it has been earning them gangbusters?
The rating of the show doesn't matter ultimately, it's the quality of the booking and the ability of the talent to pull it off and get you to buy into it. You're either gonna take the ride or you're not. And if you're not, don't sit there and hate-watch, go do something you actually enjoy. It's like any business, enough of the consumer base take their money and walk away and they'll change their tune to correct course however they have to.
The WWE don't need to and won't change anything to jeapordise their profit margins which have been skyrocketing over the last couple of years......the biggest reason i see for the Netflix deal is giving us fans flexibility in watching the WWE which is now as global as it has ever been,i'm in the UK now i won't have to stay up till 3-4 am in the morning watching RAW or Smackdown so i can stream the product anytime anywhere on any of my devices....yes some networks do offer that but they are nowhere near as good as Netflix for doing this not even close.....becoming a streaming product is future proofing the company and the WWE could be the first of many sports that do this, i think it's only a matter of time before the UFC moves to Netflix or even one of the major Boxing promotions
For all the people saying "cOnStAnT sWeArInG iSnT nEeDeD", we're not asking for CONSTANT cursing and bleeding, we just want the product to be able to show it and not go full mute when people are chanting a "bad word" also having the freedom to say certain things makes or breaks certain storylines. Keeping it pg is indeed an L
No one's talking about Roman Vs. Punk at Wrestlemania as the favor Paul Heyman owes. But that's what I think it will be. And as for Cody? His opponent can't be seen.
I don't know whether Nia getting pushed is due to her relation to the Rock, but I agree that her work is just mid. There's nothing particularly outstanding about her. Liv has definitely been a rock star over the last couple years.
At least Jax is trying to improve herself. Of course some of what she has done may have been a bit ambitious (that hurrican-rana for example) she has improved her ability to not injure her opponents.
As much as I’ve been a WWE fan since the early 2000 I grew up towards the late attitude era but mostly the ruthless aggression era I know a lot of fans are very disappointed because they’re not going back to how they used to be, but as much as I’m very disappointed, but at the same time I do understand because of the decisions and stuff because of something even though it’s kind of weird and controversial decisions, but where it is, I hope they make better decisions because we’re lucky that was the chairman. I’m not gonna mention his name you guys know I’m talking about is not around because it’s always about favoritism instead of giving other people what they get the chance of but I hope everything goes well with WWE next season. I’m looking forward to it.
Whatever, as long as the product is interesting and exciting then I welcome it.... and here's hoping it doesn't suffer the same fate as the accused Paul vs. Tyson fight.
I’ve got my tickets to the Royal Rumble. Cant wait for the women’s match. Alexia Bliss, Becky Lynch, and AJ Lee as surprise returns would be freaking awesome and would really steal the show
The WWE is at its peak in terms of content. Some superstars need to work on their mic skills, but for the most part the content is better and the audience is able to connect with the talent. Small doses of the edgier content will suffice lol. If it was a constant thing, then the WWE would lose their sponsors. The Rock not being at Wrestlemania is disappointing because a match with Roman, or even a triple threat match with Cody and Roman for the WWE championship would’ve been the cherry on top for another successful Mania. But with John Cena being at Mania, he could win his 17th world championship from Cody Rhodes. That would be a classic! But Cody and The Rock need to capitalize on their feud. Fans will grow impatient and want them to meet in the ring again.
I think that WWE can occasionally have some curse word's. And show blood in certain matches. While still being family friendly. It's just a matter of how they balance it out.

Coachman is a goofball. If Jax was so protected, she would have never been fired from the company like she was. That's a stupid statement.
Every Wrestlelamia news video ever "this is what I heard. This is what's going to happen. But you know how wwe is, so don't trust anything I say"
As another commenter stated, WWE made no promises and also my believe is that if WWE still stays PG they may still be able to deliver a lot more edgier content than they can currently produce. Business wise keeping it PG makes sense
If women are scared to hit each other with chairs like in survivor series then i dont want to watch on Netflix anyways. That moment with nia holding back made me realized we were NEVER gonna be tv14...im sorry but wwe not being tv 14 is a huge L for sure. Means more corny bs for entertainment smh
“For us old folks, X-Rated?” That’s disingenuous AF. R Rated is not the same as X. *hard eye roll*
People are soft now they aren't ready for TV14 people easily get offended nowadays.
For example they got so much offended by what Carltio said on RaW months ago....
Nia Jax has most certainly improved as far as in ring work. I like the championship on her.
This channel just push narrative she only champion because of the rock but never bring up family when talking Cody Randy Jimmy Jey Roman solo she has improved since coming back
@@eudarriusthomas8470 maybe one day she can be call a wrestler
@@TheGu777 you mean “called” if you gonna talk know how to spell
@eudarriusthomas8470 it looks to me like other girls are botching on purpose to try and make her look bad.
@@oneofthepeople7293I’m not gonna go that far to say people missing spots on purpose but I would say if spots getting missed it’s wrestling that’s gonna happen to the best of the best every year not matter who you are you gonna mess up
I had no belief they they’d ever stop being family friendly, but I believe during heated feuds, there are times where you will see them become edgier like the old days. Just like the example used in this vid with The Rock and Cody Rhodes.
As long as they don’t censor crowd chants anymore then I’m happy
I don’t want r rated or x rated wwe. I just don’t want them to be afraid to swear or show blood. Wrestling is at its best when they aren’t afraid to push boundaries and it’s incredibly disappointing to want to say PG after years of fans asking for atleast tv-14
AND THAT IS WHY, EVEN WITH VINCE GONE, WWE STILL SUCKS!!!!
Never really thought Nia was very good and always wondered why the pushed her so hard. I put her in the same category as the great Kahli and Omos. Big wrestlers that Vince wanted to push with terrible in ring skills.
Nia was & is never good in begin with . Rock is only reason she still have job
2.1M subs? Ain’t no way you’re reading these comments
In a no way is this an L. If you want edgy and regular violence, AEW provides that alternative. WWE is delivering consistently with its current TV rating and has chosen when to be bolder when necessary.
this is a HUGE L cus wwe wont get new wrestlers comeing to they company now we sick of the pg era
But AEW is a mess.
I don't think WWE will struggle getting new wrestlers or established wrestlers joining/returning
WWE will never struggle to get new wrestlers. No matter what. High or low. Good or bad. Most wrestlers dream is to make it big in WWE.
Tv-14 isn’t even bad it’s basically just pg-13 but with slight edgier stuff I don’t get it
As long as they put an end to censoring crowd chants, I really don't give 1 flying fiddle what else they do
say what you want about nia jax.. but she actually looks like a throwback womans wrestler. not like a lot of the women they bring in who are built like a twig and are not believable in the least. nia looks like she could deal an asswhooping more than the average gal. and she can cut a promo and get heat. isnt that what pro wrestling is all about? cutting promos, drawing crowd reaction, looking the part? not every successful pro wrestler could go like bret hart in the ropes.
That’s not an L lol..it’s smart business
Rock will be at WM 41 lol
I doubt it
I think he will be as well but not sure if it’s just an appearance or actual match.
Could see him costing Cody the WWE Championship and leads to a match at Summerslam.
Why advertisers would want family friendly I will never understand.
For a second I thought the huge L was WWE renewing Def Rebels contract.
LoL not gonna happen they suck so bad 😂
Wonder if Jaida Parker was allowed to swear on NXT last night? Doesn't seem like they would extend that to developmental...
"Family friendly, multigenerational, advertiser friendly programming"... welp, this sucks
As a kid i grew up with ECW :p parents and kids nowadays are just a bunch of soft snowflakes
True
this!! preach brotha!!
Fr
They're doing whats right for business and unfortunately grown men pushing 40 is not their target audience
"Huge L"? Man, you guys are the kings of hyperbole.
Even if the WWE plans to keep the show family friendly, that still doesn't mean they won't deviate from the format as has been done in the past.
HHH has a lot of guts to say Bad Bunny's name after it's been publicly revealed he was at Diddy's parties....
Jax is a joke as a wrestler. Maybe she could pull off the “bodyguard” or “manager” roll but she literally has zero moves in the ring, her finishing move is to sit down on her opponent. If the rock wasn’t involved she would not be part of the WWE
Nia is better than 90% of those onlyfans models we call wrestlers these days...
Say the same thing about then Roman jey jimmy randy solo Cody bron if wasn’t for they family members they wouldn’t be top to yall only complaining about when talking her nobody either it’s all okay or none of it is okay apply to everyone she has injured yes but so has Seth nobody calls him reckless 😂😂😂😂
Try again.
@ facts she literally got released if the rock was so in control why she got released in the first
@@eudarriusthomas8470 Not to mention that Rock never made any noise about it.
On a side note, some of Disney's top shows are shot in a TV-14 format so it's not over the edge to use a TV-14 format for RAW.
i mean look at the jaida parker segement from nxt last night
Dominic Mysterio said it best.
It's okay if some violent stuff happens here or there, like an occasional nip slip or someone getting busted open every now and then, but doing it constantly on a weekly basis or more will make it stale.
To paraphrase
Gunther World title reign got underwhelming
It's a secondary title anyway.
They say that about every title in wwe
Wdym "got underwhelming"😂 Its been underwhelming (understatement)
Tv14 good for Wwe
I really hate the kid friendly aspect of wrestling. Idgaf about ratings or sponsorships I just want more edgy stuff like we had back then, like come on grow some balls.
As you said, Netflix depends on ad revenue, and all it would take is one or two F-bombs for these ad companies to start pulling out.
the way he said Liv was the MVP of the year when I can’t tell you a single memorable feud or important storyline that’s she’s been part of this year apart from Rhea 💀
Same could be said for Nia, what was her memorable feud, oh wait, she ain't had one.
Atleast Liv storyline is amazing atleast compared to Nia who can't never bring any value to Women division . WWE will be doing fine without Nia in long term
@@tamzidmohsinkhan3333Liv storyline is amazing? Can’t beat Rhea, got sloppy seconds, and is going to lose to IYO.
@@THETANKGINGER and what about Nia ? Yes she is just paper champ that her title reign got lackluster at best . There are every female talents who are way way better than Nia
@@tamzidmohsinkhan3333 I agree. MVP for the women for me is Chelsea green, Tiffany, or IYO. Nia is so bad she has brought tiffy down too smh.
Yall wanna complain about nepotism if wasn’t for nepotism we wouldn’t have The rock , yokozuna , rikishi , Cody , Roman , Jey , jimmy, naomi, Bret hart , Owen , bulldog , bron , Randy , triple h wouldn’t be in charge, Eddie Guerrero, Rey , the Funk family, macho man , Charlotte flair etc
All of those folks have nepotism because of the relatives.
@ facts just because you have relatives doesn’t mean that’s it’s nepotism and doesn’t mean that it’s wrong to have nepotism literally the best of the best wouldn’t be where they got if it wasn’t for they family members getting they foot in the door
Bad words and violence does not automatically make the show better. Vulgarity for the sake of it, or because "we're allowed to" just diminishes the value of it.
I'm just glad it's coming to Netflix...I can't afford cable. LOL
Jonathan Coachman said it facts . Nia Snacks only has job due to being Rock's cousin
I agree with coachman on Jax .... cousin Rock as totally sorted her out as he did his daughter in NXT
Yea I'm giving up on WWE now
literally doesnt change anything
Me too unfortunately, lately wwe is really boring
What a baby 😂 😢@@agents7386
I knew that Nick Khan and Triple H didn't have the balls to make RAW TV 14. Huge let down in a big missed opportunity
Looking back at how bad many of the Attitude Era stuff aged, I have no issue with this. If it stays how it’s been, I’m grateful.
The attitude era was the best and it was not bad at all. People are idiots.
Were people expecting WWE to become Game of Thrones or something when it got to Netflix?
Why the hell would WWE switch up their approach when it has been earning them gangbusters?
Because we’ve had 16 fucking years of a PG product.
This a fighting show for fucks sake, and no fighting show should ever be PG.
Gunther is impressive. I'm calling him my wrestler of the year.
Bad Bunny back in WWE would be great❤️
I’ve got my tickets to the Royal Rumble.
