I'm just confused.
So it sounds like Brigid was originally a Celtic pagan goddess until the church in their usual way to convert pagans to Christianity made her a saint with a full load of legendary stories to bind the act. I guess that's alot better than what they usually did to convert pagans to Christianity. Excellent explanations. To me she will always be a God-dess.You do know your history on these matters.
I agree with you Sir!!! The church would have humanity believe that they are the authority on all things spiritual and they are not.

Many Lives of Saints have scriptural touch-points. The theme of abundance without diminution when giving to the poor is reminiscent of the loaves and fishes given out by Jesus in Matthew 14:13-21.
