It's finally here! because I'm a nerd, I've been keeping track of the less obvious changes I've noticed in the update: -Snake has a baseball bat again. -Max starts with 3 boomerangs. -Indy’s whip physics now work differently, and it now deals the same damage along the whole whip. This means it won't do the dumb thing where it deals no damage to enemies right in front of him. -B.A. now has permanent steroid-level throws that can launch people across the room. -Cherry’s melee deals more damage and can more easily be used in the air to bounce off enemies multiple times in a row. -Broden can now teleport by tapping down twice. -Broheart can make his sword throw land right in front of him by crouching. -The aerial slam attack that tank bro, Bronan and Brominator have now causes a shockwave similar to Neo’s dashes. -Broddock's grenades work differently now. You can hold the button to cook them, letting them detonate them sooner for precise explosions. Also his base firing rate seems to be a lot faster, so even if you just want to spam, he seems better than before. -Broniversal has been completely reworked. His special can no longer be spammed, but instead grants him several buffs for a few seconds. He automatically revives enemies he moves past, his gun fires faster, his kick has more knockback, his throw is much stronger, he moves faster, and he will automatically revive from being killed once (which ends the effect). Personally I don't like his new gun as much, I just play him like a melee bro. It's great to see more Broforce! Evan Greenwood has said that people really want a sequel, and concedes that he will probably cave at some point. Even if that never happens, Broforce Forever!
Yeah, Broniversal's new primary attack sucks, it takes a lot of shots to kill Bruisers, no knockback or stun, basically a worse version of Timebro's primary attack Bro Gummer's special also seems too similar to Brobocop's, but I guess that's not too bad given that they are otherwise distinct in playstyle. I do love the power of Snake's returning baseball bat melee, and I love Xebro's chakram and how it can just float around hitting stuff if you don't let it return to you. You can also use the old Bro Max bromerang exploit to get more chakras. Also, now that Bro Max has 3 bromerangs, if you throw all his bromerangs and then grab ammo crates, you will refill to 3, then you can grab the 3 that you've thrown to get 6 bromerangs, and more if you repeat it again.
@@veronchung3580 yeah Broniversal’s new gun I think is literally just Rambro’s gun, except burst fire instead of full auto. If he had his old gun back I think he’d be perfect, since his new special rules. Right now I basically just play him as a melee character. Burt’s melee attack is great, it’s basically a short range version of Macbrover’s dynamite. He even has his ability to automatically stick a mook when he throws them. My favorite trick is to stick a mook with dynamite and then shoot him, which sends the dynamite flying. Xena’s flips give her some invincibility frames. One trick I found is that if you start a flip and then mash the melee button, she’ll keep flipping (but not attacking) every time you press it. You can’t attack during it, but If you mash hard enough you basically turn into an invincible bouncing ball. You can move during Desperabro’s special, which is great considering the Aoe is centered on him. You can catch most of the level in the music on some stages, and then when it ends everyone gets stunned or blinded.
@@ColonelMustacheI'm still figuring all the quirks of the reworked bros and the new ones, so this has been eye-opening, especially with the Burt dynamite shooring trick you mentioned.
Waffle Bros, Kind of disappointed that they didn't make a whole new official campaign instead of just adding this stuff to the previous campaign. Than again, that would be a bit much to demand for an update like this
