The Kingdom of England is a commonwealth i.e. a republic.

The irony is(I'm a military historian from Scotland,I drive my boyfriend nuts watching historical films)it probably costs MORE to do it inaccurately than it would to do it correctly! Another thing that really annoys me as a gay working class man(I let folk say once they don't like homosexuality,that's free speech,twice is hassling me,I hit them,I would never call cops,I despise hate crime laws)is the amount of historical dramas with gay relationships in them,yes,the same proportion of men and women were gay in 1124 than in 2024,but they hid it. Political correctness makes it look like every second person in the past was gay,plus in a historically based drama I don't want straight or gay relationships taking up half the programme.
The Levellers were so evil that both the Cavaliers and Roundheads agreed that they needed to go. The Levellers were the original Communists. It's fitting. Good on you chaps.
