Tywin Lannister... I never rooted for him, but that character is a masterpiece (thanks to Charles Dance); and I feel almost the same about Otto Hightower now.
I don't think Otto Hightower comes close to Tywin tbh
@@peter-paulkutschlojenga7336 to be fair, though Otto Hightower is the one who basically caused all of this. Getting to Alicent mind having her get married with Viserys. Every episode he kept pawning everyone. He was literally the smartest/most calculated person on the show, with Larys as a close second. My boy was playing the Game of Thrones House of The Dragon, definitely big Tywin vibes but without the strict intimidation/fear.

The hound is the type of guy you need in your life, someone who's just straight up and so forward. He'll tell you what he's thinking and what's his intentions. And once you bring down those walls he'll protect you like no other
And he'll kill anyone in his way

Ned Stark will always be the most legendary character from Game of Thrones.
My favorite characters in the TV series were Ned Stark and Oberyn Martell. In the Game of Thrones novels, my favorites were Ned Stark and Sansa Stark.
I think if we just ignore the last couple seasons, Tyrion is my favorite, but if including every season I’d say Tywin
I personally loved ramsay. Very charismatic fella. And the scene where he wiggles the pork sausage in front of theon is just too funny.

She is a great and fascinating character but my god she gets a bit boring at times in the boos/show
Milly almost sounded and had Arya’s facial expression when she said “I like the Hound”, she does sound a lot like her with an australian accent, maybe a tiny little deeper voice. Also, would love to see the GOT/HOTD world brought to life using the Disney volume/stagecraft technology, used for the mandalorian, know it probably wouldn’t look at good, but far more ijteresting to invest in and improve, instead of just relying on old technology, what star wars, almost, always done, I mean, Luke deepfake in BOBF, come on, Leia and Han are showing up with deepfake too sooner than later, delivering Ben Solo/Kylo Ren to Luke, calling it.
Milly has said that she auditioned for hotd with an Arya scene.
For me, tossup between Tyrion Lannister and Yara Greyjoy.
My favourite character was the pork sausage. Wasn't on screen for long but still damn good acting
I loved Gendry. Loved how he actually kind of had a right to the throne all along but was an underdog who no one knew about.

I personally loved Daenerys, Tyrion, Cersei and Davos. But I wish I could have seen more of House Tyrell they seem very interesting. Ugh and Petyr Bealish also a fav, damn is hard to choose just one.

What? The Houdnd is one of the most interesting and mysterious guys in the show/books.
Book Hound is younger, darker, more agressive and definitely unstable. Rory plays him as more of a protector without dark intentions.
I think both versions are great and seeing him transform from a bodyguard to the villain to a fan favourite is amazing.
None of his scenes are boring which I can’t say the same for all of the main characters. His dark humor is fascinating and he is one of the big reasons Sansa and Arya can make it back to Winterfell.

The weird thing about the trailer is that It says 200 years before, and then the intro on the episode says 172 years before..??? Like, what?
merely an approximation i guess? like most characters say that targaryens ruled for 300 years when they were overthrown around 280ish?
172 years before the birth of Daenerys. By the time Thrones starts, she's already around 18 or so, which is about 200 years.
First scene of episode 1 of HoTD said the Great Council was 101 AC while episode 1 of GoT was 198 AC. So roughly 200 years.
