So how are you liking the 540? I just purchased a 540 only took it out one time so far to a tot lot , found a fair amount of clad with it seems to be a real nice machine , I also have a Nox 800 that I have been using for about 11/2 years have found lots of silver coins and some older Indian head pennies, and a couple civil war militia buttons with it along with a ton of clad coins and plenty of junk of course lol ! Actually, wouldn't mind having the whole beach to myself. Here on the east coast of Florida, I'm hard pressed before sunrise to be the first set of foot prints in the sand. Probably one person metal detecting for every 50 beach goers. The only things outnumbering the pop tops and pull tabs are the mosquitos, chiggers, and no-see-ums (biting midges) But alas, the digging addiction prevails!
