Their voices and lovely guitar work... it's just something that words cannot describe how amazing they truly are musically. They are sorely missed. How I wish music was more like this today.
My first wife was in the record store (yes, we had record stores) buying “Rumors” and the owner said “If you like Fleetwood Mac you’ll probably like this too. That was 1975. I’ve been trying to get a digital version for years. And yes, Frozen Love is the best song on the album. Imagine, Fleetwood Mac didn’t want Stevie. Ha
I didn’t even know this album existed until about a year ago. Every time I listen to it I like it more. There’s a sweetness here that I have to believe is a consequence of the love still between them at this point.
You may not be as strong as me And I may not care to teach you It may be hard to keep up with me But I'll always be able to reach you And if you go forward, I'll meet you there And if you climb up through the cold freezing air Look down below you search out above And cry out to life for a frozen love Life gave me you; the change was made And there's no beginning over You are not happy but what is love Hate gave you me for a lover And if you go forward, I'll meet you there And if you climb up through the cold freezing air Look down below you search out above And cry out to life for a frozen love.
They may have stayed together if they stuck it out as a duo. The lyrics showed they cared for each other at one point. The respect dwindled as time went on. Too bad. They were better together
i don’t think so. i think they truly care about each other as much as they did from day 1. i think that’s why they continue this farce which ended breaking up fleetwood mac in the long run. maybe stevie more than lindsey. i think she is the one that never got over it.
This is the best song off this album, hands down.
1000000000%
It’s really one of the best songs period…so well crafted.

Oh, I agree with you on that! Sooo unbelievably good. This album was a HUGE part of my life.
The genius of this pair. I’ve really enjoyed the album

A GREAT album. FROZEN is my fave!🎵
Omg! I wore this album out! ..and a couple cassettes. Lol. Mick Fleetwood listened to it and the rest is history.
I still have this album. What a masterpiece!
I remember the day I bought it. My gosh, those were such magical times.
Me 2
Not just a song but a journey through time.
Well said
51 Jahre nach Erscheinen immer noch ergreifend. Gitarre und Stimme. Danke.
This is one of Lindseys top 3 greatest solos of all time. No wonder Mick wanted him to replace Bob Welch.
I guess Lindsey liked it too, as he repurposed some of it for Go Your Own Way.
@dreyescope6926 Yeah, now that you mention it...I can hear similarities in both solos
Takes me back to ‘78 ❤ this was the song that drew me in.
In my favorite albums
You may not be as strong as me

Life gave me you; the change was made
And there's no beginning over
You are not happy but what is love
Hate gave you me for a lover
And if you go forward, I'll meet you there
And if you climb up through the cold freezing air
Look down below you search out above
And cry out to life for a frozen love.
Thank you.
Masterpiece
I found this as I recall a promo demo in a stereo along with Doldingers Jubilee 75. I always thought it was a good piece of work.

@@davidfacci6643 Their drama and that of Richard and Linda Thompson offer interesting parallels
Still have the LP
The record on its own terms is not great.
But you can see the flashes that interested Mick Fleetwood.
The album cover is hilarious 😂😂😆😆😆
Why?
Seriously, what's so funny about it?
They were starving artists. So much so, they couldn't afford clothes.
@@KingCobra3849 There's a version with clothes, too. Stevie didn't want the nude one. It pissed her off, but Lindsey and the producers won.
I actually find this album cover beautiful. Nothing funny about it ❤️
Still have the original album from the time.
From a time when music was magical.
Same here
