You have improved so much!! Also that's also me when I practice and some skater is passing by like I fell once because a hockey skater went by so fast that I lost my balance hahaha. I hope to get back to the ice and lessons soon and will post progress videos when I do come back to it! It's nice to see progress videos and see how much you've improved. Can't wait to see more of your progress💕
Rozeth Medina thank you!🙆 yuppp i totally understand that!! It happened to me too wkwkw but not a hockey skater instead figure skater and i fall myselft cause i dont want to hit her 😂 Yessss go for it !! Cant wait to see your progress too 😍goodluck n wish the best for us 🙌💪
Patricia Tanjono I actually had an encounter where a figure skater was doing jumps and then landed and almost hit me hahaha I was kinda scared. It’s also nice to see new figure skaters and sharing their progress and supporting and encouraging fellow new skaters.I wish the best for our figure skating journey^^
hahaha it remembers me when someone shoot the duck and hit me straight so we both fall xD its okay to fall, and to be afraid is natural. just remember dont you ever fall and hold it with your palms. I've been there and i injured myself pretty bad, becareful okay. Yes i love it , and you would meet new friends in your rink too
Patricia Tanjono Yep falling is inevitable and that is why it’s important to fall safely but sometimes since we are new we get surprised so we don’t always fall the right way. Hope to see your next video,Patricia I believe you will post your 4 month progress soon. Can’t wait for it and I’m loving how you can do so much now I love your backward crossovers hope to be able to do them too. You are much more confident on the ice by the way😊
For the Mohawks, really take you’re time to change feet. You don’t want to rush it, before you turn to backwards, (if you’re on the left foot going clockwise) you would put your right foot behind kind of like a T-Stop, and then you would move it forward as you change, if you want I could make a video on those!
Figure Skating Stan wow! You get it! Yeah right, i rush my mohawks because the first time i did it just fast like that cause i afraid to fall 😂 i think i get the point of what you said, i learned 7-step mohawks recently, and my problem is the last step (outside edges closing) im pretty bad my edges are ugly hahah so i would be very happy if you can give me the example on your next video. Thank you so much!!!
I will wait for your next videos! I also started figure scating not that long ago, and will try out some of the figures you show as soon as the new ice season starts here ^^
Taisiya Tuisova Hi thank you so much, my new video progress will upload very soon 😊 good for you, im glad to hear that :D i wish i have ice season too :( but my country doesn't have it, anyway goodluck and i wish the best for us, go for it girl 🙌
Really focus the outside/inside edges will help to turn automatically, i don't know about lift the heells thou. But my recent couch told me to do the bending before and after the turns (i think to make it nicer or the right technic i guess) but definitly try your edges deeper to make it turns, and keep your hands up to maintain your body balance. Hope it helps :)
@@patriciatanjono6501 Thank you for the tip, also are you going to make more skating videos? You progress really fast and I really like your videos! :D
@@emitty5469 thank you so muchhh :") really nice to hear it. its already been a year since i last skating. Dont know when i can skate again. Maybe i will upload comeback video. But since i'm working now i dont think i can have time to practice or take lesson. Still not making decision if i will take skate lesson again or just skate as a hobby once a while
Poleen Conde thank you so much!! 😊 mostly i skate 2/3 times a week, but this month i've been skate only once a week :( but now my shecdule is okay so i can skate more this month 😍 How about you Poleen? I can't wait till you take lesson too 🙌
Hi! Long time no see ? 😂 You learn the skating skulls very fast !! I'm still learning backward crossovers but I believe that I can get it a few days later !😎😎 BTW , I'm now deciding to buy a pair of skate , can you give me some idea ? P.S. sorry for my grammar mistakes 😅 see u next month 🤗
Annie Fung Hii Annie!! Yeah you notice 😂 i'm very late for uploading this video, but my 4th months progress will be upload 2 weeks from now ^^ actually im not that fast, but thanks!!😊 Good for youuu!! Go for it Annie!! I fall in love with the backcrossovers, i bet you can do it too! Its really great to have your own pair of skates 😍 you will progress so much faster with it because you dont have to wear the rent skate differently (everytime u skates) Its okayy my grammar not really good too 😛 btw sorry for my late reply. Here's some info about the skates i know: jacksons, edea, risport Everyone have their own preference, but i know that 3 brand is the most popular and reliable for beginner and the expert. I dont know much about edea but you can browsing it in edea website. I use the jackson competitor my self, because i have wider foot, Risport is design to slimmer foot. Both of it perfect for startes.. Every brand have their own types. Its according how long/willingly you want to learn. Risport light (begginer-freestyle 3) Jackson Competitor (beginner-fresstyle 5)
Hi!! I hope to help with buying your first pair of skates. I got my first pairs they are the Edea Overture which are a good starting boot will last up to single axel, the blades I have are the Aspire XP same with the Jackson Competitors I believe. Jackson Mystiques are a good beginner boot for basics if you are still deciding whether you will continue in the sport but if you are sure you will it’s better to invest on boots that will last so you won’t have to buy new skates when you upgrade or move up to another level because you’ll end up needing more support/stiffness. You could get the Jackson Competitors they come with the Aspire XP blade or the Edea Overture. Riedell and Risport are both good for narrow feet I believe. But you should try the boots available in your pro skate shop to see which brand and model fits the best! Goodluck I hope I helped a bit💕
i hope my answer can help you to find your own new skates :) oh and remember! its important to have your right size, especially if its too big for you it will be very dangerous u could hit the toepick much and end up fall
Patricia Tanjono thx for giving me these ideas ! The rent skates that the rink provided to me almost can't see the edges . It makes me feel scared sometimes when I was doing crossovers😂😂 It is a necessity to buy skates as soon as possible 🙆
Rozeth Medina thx for typing so many words , I don't have so much budget so I can't buy skates that can use long long time , I may make a choice between edea overture and jackson competitor 😃 Good luck for you too , your ideas really helps me a lot 💕
Hii sorry for my late reply, i practiced a lot, try to bend your knee and go forward while forcing your outside/indside edge then it will automaticly turn. But u have to keep your body balance. Try to practice whole correct body position and give it ago. You can practice beside the rink wall then try it out :) im sure u can, keep going! 🤗
I do have a coach, i think its important to learn the right technic of the elements(how it works, body posture etc.) . But figure skaters friend also a big help too, they kindly motivate me and would teach me
Hi again! You progress very fast! And it’s way better than most people in three months(including me😂) I replied to you on my video!
Figure Skating Stan thank you Stan!! I appreciate your help, you're too nice :D
Patricia Tanjono you’re welcome!
