Lord, I thank you for your mercy. I was hijacked at gunpoint, hit over the head with a gun. While I walked into the mall nearby, I was smiling, although blood ran down my face. The security wanted to know why I was smiling, I told her, I always rejoice in the Lord. I told her that I was still alive. The psalmist and the hymn always reminds us: Rejoice, Rejoice Always. Not only in the good times but also the bad times. My strength comes from you. At 67 I still feel a need to help others. I always will. God give me the strength every day to continue with his work.

Lord, I thank you for your mercy. I was hijacked at gunpoint, hit over the head with a gun. While I walked into the mall nearby, I was smiling, although blood ran down my face. The security wanted to know why I was smiling, I told her, I always rejoice in the Lord. I told her that I was still alive. The psalmist and the hymn always reminds us: Rejoice, Rejoice Always. Not only in the good times but also the bad times. My strength comes from you. At 67 I still feel a need to help others. I always will. God give me the strength every day to continue with his work.
