    Around the 3:50 mark, you search asin + catnip and other products get returned. Why is this? Does the search ignore the asin?

    • @sumnerandali
      @sumnerandali  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The results show you if the ASIN you entered is indexing for that particular keyword. It doesn't ignore the ASIN it takes it into account.

      Thanks but what does catnip have to do with wine stopper? It appears to have totally ignored the asin and search only for catnip.

    Hello Sumner.
    Can you please tell what is the best way to index certain KWs? If I include those KWs in the frontend of my sales copy and start PPC sponsored products manual exact campaigns on those KWs, will it help in indexing? or just including those KWs in frontend is enough to get indexed?
    I have two variations and both have identical listing content, but one of those variation is not indexed on many KWs. Can you advise how to get that one indexed on those KWs?
    Thank you.

    • @sumnerandali
      @sumnerandali  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Best way to index is simply to have those keywords somewhere in your listing either in the title, bullet points, search terms, or description/ A+ content alt text. As long as you search "ASIN + keyword" and see your listing then you are indexed. With variations Amazon will display whichever variant they believe is most likely to convert for a given search query so when you do the search for variation B this could be why you see variation A. I hope this helps!

      @@sumnerandali Thank you Sumner.
      So how can I get the variation B to be indexed on same keywords with same content?

    Super helpful video:) I'm about to launch my first product and one part of my launch plan is rebates using the search find buy method. Would you reccomend using a 2 step url first to index since the product could be on page 20 at first, and then move into the search find buy method?
    What page would you like to see your product on before you would start the search find buy method? Or does it even matter?
    Thank you so much

    • @sumnerandali
      @sumnerandali  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Kim and Erran! For SFB I would recommend for any keyword you wish to rank ask the buyer to search for your keyword with your brand name followed by the keyword. This way you (should) appear as the first search result for that keyword and still gain ranking juice for the keyword itself. A customer actually searching for your product through keywords and then buying is the most powerful. Also, I recommend diversifying your traffic and not just relying on rebates. Consider some Amazon PPC, Google ads, Pinterest content, and influencer partnerships. Amazon likes diversity of traffic and you can ultimately end up paying less. For Google ads and Pinterest ads you can just link directly to your listing without a 2-step url.

      @@sumnerandali Ok awesome...Thank you. Yes for our launch we plan to use our warm audience that we already have, rebates using search find buy, PPC, FB Ads, influencers and a press release:)

      Do you think using google ads are better than FB ads?

    • @sumnerandali
      @sumnerandali  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@KIMandERRAN Google ads 100% for beginners. The reason is that you can target people who are in BUYING mode looking for a specific product on Google. With Facebook you're targeting people in SOCIAL mode who aren't looking to buy anything. Facebook ads work well if you can capture email, nurture, and then sell or retargwting ads but not direct from FB to Amazon listing. You can with Google and Pinterest
