According to the Bible and the law of God can the Sabbath be kept any day of the week and we have the authority to make that day holy in order to keep it holy or are we keep the Sabbath 7th day Saturday holy because God blessed and made only that day of the week Holy and asked us to keep the the 7th day as we know as Saturday?
I feel like Ashley could be the Monica of arm chair expert....Enjoyed the two of so much. I love the work with your hands sabbath with your mind and vice versa.

Loved this video! You talk a lot about limiting tech on Sabbath. I’m curious to hear what you think about wearing your smart watch on sabbath as it is often an extension of your phone with all the notifications. I’d be curious to hear your advice!
I like it only for tracking walks or activity I do, or for breathing exercises. I am not using it for notifications! Or turning that sucker to DND!
So, Spotify playlists in your phone? Is that still treating your phone like a landline, or not? Also, grew up in a time where stores were closed on Sunday, and we did not shop (very enforced), and we did not go to restaurants because that was causing others to have to work on Sunday. How are we helping people not have to work 7 days a week if we all Sabbath (avoid shopping) on different days of the week? Or is it more for your own mindset?
What would you do if you have a job that puts you on a 6 days a week for 11 hours a day. How would you catch up your house chores when you have sabbath on Sunday down on Saturday and Sunday.
I’ve personally found recently that I can get more done in 15 min then I think I can. If you set a timer and just focus on one area for 15 min, it will help to reduce what you have to do by spreading it out. And then just make it a point to keep the kitchen clean before going to bed. Or another thing you can do is tie a chore to something you are about to do. Maybe scrub down the shower right before you take a shower once a week. It’s hard at first but with time it becomes a habit!
Are you aloud to take your children to parks on sabbath and later bath your children
This was great for those learning. Just remember there is no "Jewish tradition" or "Christian tradition" concerning the day. Is Scriptural instruction not tradition. And Scripture is clear about when is shabbat is set for. Don't dismiss the Scriptures but try your best to seek the Lords ways. 💚
If you are in a place to rest ( chronic limiting illness, retirement, etc), you can give people in the crazy parenting time of life space to rest. Babysit for them so they can rest and worship. Bring them a meal so they don't have to cook today. We can give a gift of rest.
But Jesus answered them, “To this very day My Father is at His work, and I too am working." "Be careful not to practice your righteousness in front of others to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven." "Therefore no one will be declared righteous in God's sight by the works of the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of our sin." "Through Him everyone who believes is justified from everything you could not be justified from by the Law of Moses."
The sabbath isn’t Jewish,that is a common misconception
