it technically still works. using an autoclicker, keep walking into the back wall of the drivers hub of the truck while your cursor is above the road sign item. this will equip it really quickly, regardless of the 'patch' that will unequip it really quickly. however with autoclick this basically turns into a super rapid equip + unequip, and if you do everything else the same ur DOT truck will still go super fast I found this like 10 minutes ago while checking if the og glitch was really patched
ER:LC and GV mods and devs are definitely some of the worst people you can interact with, like if you just tell them a joke they'll kick you out because they're somehow offended.
You can still do this. Just get the same sign get an auto clicker and make sure it is set to like 1 millisecond intervals between clips and just hold w while activating the autoclicker. Also make sure your curser is on the road sign.
Tip if u use the golf cart looking car an use the camera from the news job an walk into the car with teh camera in hand an walk into the back of the car frame while in the car like ur chsrcter on the seats not sitting an walk backwards with camera in hand it’ll make ur car fly
You can actually still do this by going to the back, activating an autoclicker to click at 0005 ms, and just spam it behind the cab. It does the exact same thing, except its harder to control and lags a little more. But it still has the same speed effect.
