What does that have to do with his model, idiot? It's like if someone made a realistic statue of Hitler, "Oh, I guess that statue is poorly made now because it's of a horrible dictator"
I gotta agree. I've ridden Vekomas, and sure! They are painful, but c'mon! He built this himself! He did amazingly good, don't hate on him JUST because he used some random, simple model y'all don't like!
@@thatkidonyoutube5223 Maybe if _you_ were a coaster enthusiast you would know that the Vekoma _Invertigo_ actually provides a completely different and far more intense experience than a conventional Boomerang. :P
I can’t see why he wanted to go with a Vekoma boomerang. More technical with the mechanisms. This is so cool. With the restraints opening and closing and that gorgeous control panel, lol. I want those buttons... lol.
This is soooo cool! I love it! I've always wanted to build my own theme park when I was six years old. Now that I'm 45, I still want to build one, but you have to be a very wealthy developer to actually own it. Now, I design and illustrate concept theme parks and attractions. Still, it would be nice to be able to see one of my ideas in model form. Awesome job!
This is so sick. I think choosing Invertigo was a good idea because it’s a smaller coaster. Other coasters could get out of hand quickly with those 12 prints
This is great congratulations to the team. I’m working on a project I need a small suspended coaster. 40 x70 x 12. Not anything close to this. Simple. If one of you can as a summer side job I’d pay obviously. Thank you.
We had a similar coaster at six flags in Maryland named two face the flipside but the ride was removed less than a decade after it opened because it kept getting stuck on the first lift.
I'd like to see a simpler, but bigger rollercoaster (without the opening and closing harnesses and the addons like the station) but a coaster that does a full circuit and has the cars on top of the track versus a "boomerang", suspended type... what did you use for the rails/tracks? it looks like medical tubing... brilliant work!!!
This is wicked cool. Your attention to detail is to be commended. Have you considered offering workshops and or selling these amazing products as an individual contractor? If so, I would be quite interested in both learning how to accoumplish this amazing feet of enginineering and purchasing one to share with friends and family and to have as a keepsake.
That is the RAJUN CAJUN at Blue Bayou in Baton Rouge, Louisiana except the one in Louisiana is inverted as in not hanging on/from the tracks(like this 🎢
Mikey 101234 it is a mass produced roller coaster by Vekoma. They offer a standard sit down, like the one you mentioned. An inverted version, like the model in this video, and a "giant" inverted version. There are over 50 identical coasters like the one you mentioned around the world. rcdb.com/8191.htm
Only four invertigo coasters were ever built. The prototype Hangover in Sweden,Invertigo at CGA(which was relocated to Dorney park as stinger) face off (now invertigo at KI and two face the flipside at SFA. Invertigo at KI is the only one of those original four still in operation.
There are lots of section on that coaster because it's a custom So probably it would take 1 year and a half (or more) to complete just the track. Then there goes the supports which would either take 8 months to print, then assembling of the parts. But either which, it would be interesting.
It's not a Boomerang. It's an Invertigo. Turns out putting the train underneath the track on a standard Boomerang layout results in a MASSIVE improvement to the ride experience.
Hey Bryan. First, don't be scared! Second, study math and science in school -- engineering involves a lot of math. If you enjoy it and do well, you can become an engineer!

This was before he had an SLA printer so it's the next best thing. Not all things are printed. The bearings for wheels, the servos, the chain, motors, and rails are not printed simply because they can't be. It's too functional a piece to be printable. The rails would suffer from thickness inconsistency and layers, etc.
This model is ridiculously in depth. Man the attention to detail is very serious. Even the way the train cars themselves move as if they had much more mass, in other words they are very life like in the way the train runs. Its not like other models that once started fly at ridiculous speeds. I don't mean to put down other people's work its just this guy seemed to put a concerted effort into the way it flows on the Track. Kudos!!! This is really incredible. I would love to see a modified wooden coaster made by him. It would be great to see. Thank you for posting this...
This coaster model is just a lot bigger than most model coasters. Most of them are smaller. The forces that act on the coasters doesn’t change depending on the size so when it is larger, it will be moving slower so won’t be “rediculous speeds” had he made the same model but smaller it would. I think people need to understand this as I see that critique is a lot but the speed is really not controllable. A lot of people will make the same effort as him. If you take a camera on the really fast ones and slowed it down, you would see then how it actually looks realistic with the way it moves on the track. So really no you shouldn’t put other people’s work down as that is NOT why this one is particularly cool.
nope adding weight won’t make it any more realistic. You won’t have the speeds look like real life unless you build a real life coaster. The forces that act on the car, are the same no matter the size, which is why smaller models go faster.
I like how people are complaining about the type of ride he made rather than noticing the amount of detail and work that went into it.
What does that have to do with his model, idiot? It's like if someone made a realistic statue of Hitler, "Oh, I guess that statue is poorly made now because it's of a horrible dictator"

He made the Steel Vengeance model at CP

It's a vekoma inverted boomerang

Incredible model of the Vekoma Inverted Boomerang!!!
Well, at least it's the inverted version of the boomerang....
Yeah. The _good_ version of a Boomerang.
It would be cool either way, though.

Wow! I love in Canada and at Canadas wonderland there is a very similar ride called the bat, but it's not inverted.
Amazing work!
Would love to see this sold. Would love to have a model coaster with gates and launches, restraints working with a control pannel

This model vertigo is also modeled after the bat in canadas wonderland which came out back 1987
The Bat wasn't the world's first vekoma boomerang. The prototype debuted in 1982.

Is that inverdigo at kings island?
So cool! I love the passion you have!
you finished it holy shit its great
this look epic
what tubing did you use for the rails?

Awesome! stoked to see the progress, would love to give an update on this project to the 3D printing community. Shoot us an email!

I remember my little brother cried on this ride, I was having fun though lol
Which is the best first looping coaster at kings island?
Normal people: Yo this is sick!!😀😀
Coaster Nerds: Another Boomerang clone🤦♂️
Lol yep
I love invertigo
I live near kings island but I never rode this one it was just way on the other side of the park and I kinda forgot it existed
Invertigo! Nice
Wow...fantastico ...ma si può acquistare...bel video ... ciao dall'Italia
This is exactly the same as the dixieland ragin cajun coster!
I love roller coasters and I want to be a engineer
You can find the same lay out in Walibi Holland and in Walibi Belgium :D
No shit, these are all over the world, theres a ton of them
This is some ridiculous detail. Looks amazing. Kinda wish it could have been not a Vekoma. Still look insane though.
Can get some design of these for bulding in my Homeland Jayapura
I really want something like coasterdynamix. But easy to use and affordable.

what size bearings are used?

it looks like speed of sound from walibi holland

why does everyone love making boomerangs so much
Out of all things, a boomerang?!
Really good job though haha
