  • If you’re nervous about checking in to a Jetstar flight kiosk on your own without needing to go to the check in desk, don’t be! It’s as easy as one - two - three!
    This handy little video explains step-by-step how to use self service flight check in and bag drop kiosks.
    Note - regarding the bag tag we were advised it’s better on the long side of the bag however we travelled with it on the short side of the bag on our outgoing journey and it still seemed to be returned to us quickly.
    The Let’s Go Mum family partnered with Jetstar Australia for this flight

    Hello, i have a question about my case.When I check in, if I don't have a barcode, but only a code in numbers and letters, what should I do? I will have a flight on 4/10. So I look forward to hearing from you soon

      @Rania Khan I’ve seen no carry on weighs at all and them ask for them to be weighed at check in - it’s a lottery. I wouldn’t try to overpack - chances are they’ll weigh your bag

    Thanks for the video, amazing !
    We are a family of 3 traveling so do we need to check in separately or it will allow combined checkin.. total weight allowed is 110kg. 40kg*2/adult and 30kg/child.

    • @LetsGoMum
      @LetsGoMum  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If you purchased the tickets together you can check in for everyone together and put the number of checked bags under one name too/overall combined weight is taken into account. Just don’t exceed 30kg s on any one bag. 😍

      @@LetsGoMum perfect ! Thanks for your response.
      I have packed 27.5kg each in 4 bags but per ticket allowance is 40kg so wondering if I checkin 1 bag of 27.5kg I am only left with 12.5kg(40-27.5) which I cannot checkin because my other bag is also of 27.5kg. so I can only do combined checkin for my family. Good to know that it will take 110 as total and keep on subtracting from 110 only to accommodate all 4 bags.

      I’m pretty sure domestic check in doesn’t open until 24 hours prior? You can also check in at the kiosks or at the desks at Sydney

      It depends which airport you are at. Sydney has a large check in desk with no bag drop but Melbourne domestic there are only kiosks and a bag drop I think, but don’t worry there are always staff to help.

      @@LetsGoMum Thank you - out of curiosity, are the sizer dimensions slightly larger than what is posted online? A lot of non-budget airlines have containers that are slightly larger than they posted dimensions. (Trying to decide if I want to buy an item that is 1.7cm taller than the accepted size...)

    • @LetsGoMum
      @LetsGoMum  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@robertl6442 it’s very difficult to say, and I wouldn’t want you to get into trouble, but I will say they certainly do often check the weight of carry ons - particularly if they look like a larger bag. but then, I’ve also had my small handbag weighed sometimes. I don’t think I’ve seen them try to measure a bag, but I guess that doesn’t mean that it can’t happen. Good luck with your decision!
