city life is full of melancholy huh, i keep coming back this song for this reason. and i think your remix really capture how i feel about the song, ambiguous melancholy, aimessly walking, distorted everyday life, cue the reckless nights, no strings, laughing at our own dreams, and without any warning, you suddenly fell down and cry.

Yes I kinda rmb that you liked this song cuz I saw you playing it on your stream, and yea good thing she ended up finishing it. Nice, didn't know you were working on this song cover too. Awww thank you so much man, yeah I put feelings first for this one since it's such an emotional song. What I imagined was at first you're in a "hazy dream" and your sense start rushing back as it hits at 0:23 with all those sounds moving around your head and you finally woke up from that dream. And at 0:52 it's like you are strolling through the night streets after waking up, but you still feel a bit surreal. Also 2:34 is a reference to sth you prob will know haha. P.S. lastly after finishing the whole remix suddenly this thought came to my head that what does "end of a life" really meant to Calli. Hence I added that sound (if u know u know) at the very end of 3:00 cuz I interpreted it mean an end of her "past life." So yes remixing has been a lot of fun to me because I can put a lot of these details and thoughts down and express it through music, you might like it too! :D

After the first day _from many more to come_ of school stress, being able to play this on a speaker at night and slowly calm down... man. Love this stuff. It's like a gentle hug (guh?) and a slow pat, telling me I can still do it and fight for another day. Being able to focus on emotion for a piece seems to be working splendid as well. Haha nice you noticed it. Idk if I'm using it too much but I feel like it fits the vibe that I like in my songs, even though it's not as common as just detuned keys in lofi. Oh never listened to that before.
