Je suis propriétaire d'un Solis H24 depuis 1 an. Un vrai bijou. Rapport qualité/prix exceptionnel. Je recommande ce tracteur 100%. Steve. Québec, Canada
Thank you Steve for sharing your experience! I am very pleased with mine as well and agree on the value for the money... Translation of Steve's message: I have owned a Solis H24 for 1 year. A real gem. Exceptional value for money. I recommend this tractor 100%. Steve. Quebec, Canada
I have the European spec (comes in blue) but basically the same tractor with the same Mitsubishi engine but marketed here as 26HP. I had the same problem with the joystick coming loose. One disappointent is the hydraulic flow rate. I demo'd a log splitter but it was painfully slow. The dealer said the flow rate of the Solis was not sufficient. I agree that the power steering is fantastic.
Hi David, thanks for sharing your experience with the European model. I've not had a use case with the hdyraulic flow rate being an issue yet, but I did hear it might impact the performance of the backhoe... that said I also heard that the engineers had been informed and possibly an updated hydraulic pump might be in the future. Don't have a definitive answer on that and course I'm not sure even if it does happen that it helps those of us with a current version of the machine. Regarding the power steering, I also operate a John Deere 2032R and I have installed a spinner knob... I noticed on the Solis as there is really no need at all for that as I can spin the wheel and tires with my little finger with zero effort. Crazy how noticeable some of the little things are... :-)
@@snouwbaard I'm not 100% sure that is correct but maybe you know more than I do... I suppose I'd ask if you see a difference in a Honda from Japan or a Honda from Marysville, Ohio? Brands implement the same quality standards regardless of manufacturing location in order to stand behind their warranties and brand value...
@@snouwbaard I just hadn't heard that from my contacts at Solis... I know they were awaiting locally made in India Yanmar engines to help get the price point down on some of the midsized models, but they were still importing from Yanmar Japan, so I assumed the same to be true for the Mitsubishi engines.
My local dealer offers two tire options. One being a 12 ply wide tire what looks like what you have and the other being a higher R14 6 ply narrower tire that provides more ground clearance. Any suggestions in that choice of tire?
The R14 is more of an all purpose tire bs the industrial R4. The higher stance will also allow clearance if you ever want to add the newly released midmount mower. Price depending id rather have the R14s. I will be getting the new H24+ soon and it comes standard with the R14s. Would perfect better in the snow for me I believe.
Thanks Dan! 👍 I agree, this tractor could be a great option. I think John Deere has figured out some creature comforts but so far I'm not seeing a lot different other than brand awareness and color... time will tell but I do feel it is a very durable tractor with some fantastic extras.
While I have not put hands on the 26HST European version, it is my understanding that these are essentially the same tractor with the engine tuned to the HP output that best fits the market and regulatory situation.
Mine cost me about three thousand dollars less than I could have bought a Summit 25 but the Summit does come with more options like self leveling loader, mirrors, and a third function already installed if you want to add a grapple or implement that uses a third function. I got around this by adding a hydraulic multiplier on the rear remotes and ran hoses to the front to operate my grapple.
Hey Jim, I've not personally seen the Summit tractor and they do come from the same manufacturer, ITL. I think Larry has nailed it based on what I've been able to tell from the pricing I occasionally see on Facebook. Don't quote me but I think the Summit is around $19,500 and the Solis is often on sale for around $16,500... Could be off here as the wind blows, but I think its close. I've never had a MSL or hybrid tires or a third function for that matter... lol. One of these days I'll finally get a grapple... i hope :-)
Just saw a Solis ad on facebook, from a dealer in CT, listing the tractor with backhoe for $19,999... now that's not bad at all if you wanted a backhoe.
Yeh, I was looking at that the other day, I think it could be made a little larger... I upgraded by JD 2032R to a heavy duty bucket so am not sure what the standard looked like. Not sure if they upsize the bucket with the MSL either, as that will have significantly higher lift capacity.

Thanks for your reviews. I'm buying one very soon
Glad they have been helpful! You won’t regret it.
Great review. I think this is a very good option for someone (maybe me) that just cant justify the high ed JD. Keep up the great reviews.

Good review. Very helpful

I like the rear wider stance
Yep looks great but also adds to the stability.
Is there a difference between this tractor and the 26HST sold in Europe?

good looking tractor.
I think so too! Stylish, durable and value priced. Thanks for watching and commenting.
I like to try the manual one !
Geared version? I have the geared 60HP S60 that I’m starting to test. First geared tractor for me and pretty cool.

How is it priced compared to the Summit 25 hp tractor?
