Just rank 4d mine. At high sig, you can basically just take combos during glancing and heal back up if it's too much trouble to get to the Sp2 lol. She's so much fun.

Yea people don’t think of her as an attacker but after one sp2 with even 6-7 furies she hits like a freaking truck!
She seems great for battlegrounds, but I feel like she's in need of a tune up to her transmutation and fury durations as they feel a bit too short to make use of

Sersi is great Build to sp2 throw near opponent then build to sp1 throw away from opponent to refresh shes an absolute beast

Need versus benefit. Need is an ok question. Does she benefit greatly? Yes IMO. Worthy of a cosmic AG for sure. Much better awakened.
It helps her offense and defense kit. Becomes tankier. And gains power for offense. Great sig IMO. And most benefit around 60-80. Which is also awesome. If r3 or certainly r4, gem her.
I do use her on offense. Catch a few ppl off guard lol

I pulled a Sersi from a basic crystal recently as a 6 star, and I've heard great things about her on offense and defense but I don't know if she's worth taking up to Rank 2. I'm not yet done with Act 6 although I anticipate doing that soon, and I already have Hercules, Knull and soon Gorr as Rank 2 Cosmic champions. Does she really put in that much work unduped?

Without synergies I would place Sersi higher than Angela but then again which play mode you would prefer. Angela with Odin synergy has limitless potential unfortunately currently the only game mode has limitless fights is Incursion which I been able to get to Zone 50. So far my highest dps is 45k per second with a 5 star Angela and no boost. I have been able take down a Doombot 225k health in 5 seconds. With Angela's armor buff she is able to take hits on the block and can regen 4% health per second. Imagine if Wolverine procs a regen nonstop and has Cgr's damage but with higher potency that is pretty much Angela with Odin synergy potential. Now that is what I call "A WeLL BaLAnCe ChAmPiOn" lol.

I've been campaigning for Sersi for over a year telling everyone how good she is! I'm glad others also like using sersi on offensive, she is a beast.
