골목을 꺾고 돌아,또 다른 골목을 이어가며눈앞에 펼쳐진 길을 파고들어 간다.
낯선 발걸음을 눈치 챈 강아지의 소리,
골목과 골목이 만나는 작은 교차로,
저 너머 산처럼 둘러 싼 높은 빌딩들,
네온 사인이 번쩍하는 상점과
단아한 음표가 굴러다니는 작은 레코드 가게를 지나,
후두둑 후두둑 떨어지는 빗방울,
오래된 자동차에서 흘러나오는 더 오래된 멜로디,
머리카락을 스치고 지나가는 바람을 마주한다.
아무것도 아니지만 또한 모든 것들.
우리에게는 삶을 살아가는 두 가지 방법이 있다.
하나는 아무것도 기적이 아닌 것처럼,
다른 하나는 모든 것이 기적인 것처럼 세상을 바라보는 것이다.
그렇게오늘도 나는,나의 작은 도시를 걷는다.
