[PoE 3.25] SSF Lightning Strike Gladiator vs. Feared

This will probably be my last update for this build! I think it was an excellent league starter, did feared and some T17's as well, got me all my invitations and favorite map slots done. With better weapons and gear you probably could take this build into ubers, but...being block based feels kind of bad... Ultimately, I think block builds like this are EXCELLENT league starters, you can take these builds to level 96ish and do all your content, but if you wanna level past 96 or do ubers/T17's more consistently, I think it's better to play builds centered around damage mitigation rather than avoidance. Getting 1-shotted randomly during league start is fine, but it gets old quick...
Note: taking strength of blood without a source of overleech or petrified blood as I did in this build is a little questionable... The 20% instant leech feels like it's good enough at keeping your hp full 90% of the time, so I guess the question is...would you rather have non-instant leech the other 10% of the time (and 1 more skill point), or, (up to) 19% PDR? 🤔

Nice vid! So what was the interaction with strength of blood and blood magic? something about petrified blood but I don't see you using it....? The grace on the watcher's eye looks good

yea so with blood magic, if you leave >51% of life unreserved, then your life leech effects won't be removed because the game will think you can still heal as you're not on full life - but petrified blood will just make the leech not actually heal you. if your leech is never removed, strength of blood constantly gives you PDR. but in my build, i decided to not use petrified blood, so my life leech gets removed at full HP, so strength from blood is only giving me PDR when my life is not full and i am hitting a lot and leeching. so i ended up taking strength of blood off today, cuz i thought the non-instant leech recovery would be better than sometimes having some PDR. (i decided to not use petrified blood cuz i thought it would 1. make me really weak to dots and 2. i don't benefit off any low-life synergy.)

why did you get gratuitous violence in the tree? pob only shows 35% bleed, isn't war of attrition better? especially for feared

The bleed pops help a lot for clear and the chance to bleed small node helps apply bleed for cornered prey
War of attrition is certainly better for bosses like this but it also ended up useless in 99% other content and here I just CBA to respec it as the build was strong enough imo without it
