Lots of money are not necessarily guarantee of success, but with what Aston Martin is investing, including infrastructures, technicians and new stellar driver, it is hard to immagine that they'll do any worse or same as in 2022. I am not a fan of the team but huge fan of Alonso, he deserves another shot for the championship! All the best
2022 would have been the year for that with all the changes, now just tweaks until new rule changes , RB-Ferrari-MB are so far ahead of midfields, I wish more teams had a chance at multiple podiums each year…
The thing that annoys me is I have friends who are dismissive of Lance Stroll despite having had two podiums to his name and some steady results They act like Latifi and Mazepin were something special compared to him but I see no reason why I wouldn’t have him as a second or reserve driver in my team It will be great to see the new car and what they can do with it 😉

I really think AM is one to watch. They aren't sitting back as an also ran. Hard to say if any of it works until we get a glimpse in testing - and not the reveal, that's all a bluff by everyone anyhow. Then it's getting it through approval and seeing what they end up with.
How they develop it will be crucial. It's OK winning the first race or the second, but if they're finishing 6th or 7th the whole time afterwards, then it's pointless.

Unless the loophole is in the inside, be certain that all eyes will be in that car. If on the outside, that will give other teams time to copy and the early advantage will be gone. I hope I am wrong.

I think it's a bit too early to give such credence to Alonso's impact considering that all we've had are "vibe checks". The guy arrived in winter, he hasn't been spending that winter telling Aston Martin EXACTLY what it needs to do, any impact he has on the car is going to show up over the course of this year, not in the first race. He's more likely been learning the team and learning the culture since joining. That's obvious even from the basic amount of reading you did for this video.
