Just got my copy and I wasn’t sure. But he’s great! I didn’t have an issue with his claws, mine go all the way up too the thumb & sit properly I’ve never seen an account look as slick as this dude 😂
I don't mind the modern details that make Raptor a little more committed to his bird obsession. I'm not sure how he was portrayed in the comics, but file card wise I didn't get the opinion that he ever led a double life. He was an accountant, that took up falconry as a past time. He became obsessed with it, he got caught hunting on Cobra property by Destro, and he ended up joining Cobra. After that, he spent most of his time living in a giant bird cage, and training his birds to attack GI Joes. So, I think by the time he joined Cobra, he had walked away from anything that would resemble a normal lifestyle. But, like you said, everyone's head canon differs. Raptor has always been an exception to my own rules. I always preferred the more "realistic" military side of GI Joe, but he was so over-the-top crazy, I couldn't help but like him. I love what they did with this version. I was hoping they'd give him a couple of falcon styled drones that would nest on his flight pack. That would have been a cool feature. Mine should be here later this week, and I can't wait!
I’m not familiar with this character so my head canon is that this guy was an accountant for cobra but he wanted to do more but cobra didn’t take him seriously so he changed his look and tried to join the dreadnocks but Zartan laughed in his face so he tried to join the Joes but they didn’t want him either so he went home and thought about his life choices
I was at a cars n coffee meet the other day and this chick had a thigh thing/two strips and little bag like she was tomb raider. Was very strange to see a thigh bag thing in real life. Her lambo was very cool

Hasbro really should have included a flight stand of some sort with Raptor. Have to source your own is annoying 😂
That would likely have added $10-15 to the price. I'd rather choose my own.
