The photography in your videos is just outstanding! I'm looking forward to watching the other episodes because the production is fantastic. Congratulations 👏🏻
Just beautiful the Gd. San Bernard. I rode it down to Aosta. Heard a lot of marmots there when I stopped. Hope you enjoyed Simplonpass, it's beautiful in autum. Thanks, Leonoor, for bring me back memories.❤
Well, thank you again for bringing us along... I have made that pass many many years ago, it's as beautiful as ever of course, the mountains are timeless. Safe travels and can't wait to see the next video.
So lovely to see my homeland through the eyes of another biker. Can’t wait to get going again with the end of the winter storage next week. Looking forward to see your other col visits.
Nice video and production. However, I just want to let all your viewers know that you don’t need a Panzer tank of a bike to tour and enjoy touring in Switzerland or anywhere else. We’ve just done Switzerland riding from the UK including France, Germany, Belgium and Luxembourg on Vespa GTS300’s. All bikes can tour, some better than others admittedly, but don’t wait for that big bike go out and do it now… you’ll love it!
The scenery of your rides, your narration, your music selection, and of course you, yourself, always amaze me! Your videos are magnificent! On a side note, I sensed that you are gaining a higher level of confidence as a rider, so reminder to please never forget to be careful.
I first travelled over the Col du Grand St Bernard, as a small boy, with my parents (I still have vague memories of it) . And later this year, many decades later, I will be riding over it on my motorbike! I've been looking forward to this new series, and Episode 1 certainly didn't disappoint. Thank you! 😊
Finally Switzerland - Let's dive in into your beautiful footage of the Grand-Saint-Bernard, and: wow! Can't recall the summit THAT deserted, can't recall the summit almost at all. Maybe because of my special experience with it in summer 2023. I came across the Petit-Saint-Bernard, rode through the Aosta valley, and well - as I was riding my full electric Zero SR/F, at some point I'd have liked to charge the battery a little bit. But, as we are in Italy - not a single charging point in the Aosta valley worked for me, so I climbed the Grand-Saint-Bernard a little bit anxious *g* Long story short - I crossed the summit with the last % of energy in my bike, and therefor I did not think of stopping there. My only target was reaching Martigny. And it worked *g* So, thank you, Leonoor, for showing us this GRAND pass. Will visit it again this summer - fully charged *g*
Wait till you see the next episode haha (hint; ❄️). It’s a beautiful road, even more when you see most of it and take a small walk on the summit. Electric riding does has it limits 😜
I'm very curious,@@LNRmoto. Will it be the Simplon indeed? Looking forward, 'cause I've never ridden it ;-) Yeah, limited, but exciting. Or maybe just because of that? ;-) Have fun!
Groet!
Great to see you back ,looking forward to your journey through my favourite country , apart from my beautiful home 🏴 .i lost a ear bud music didn’t sound very good dropped it when I took my helmet off, lost for ever, I bought a new set lost one again 😮.
@@LNRmoto Das kann passieren , nochmal danke das du so lieb antwortest und übrigens , habe gestern deinen Podcast gesehen mit TwinSpark , sehr interessant und bitte mache einfach weiter so ….❤️❤️
Hi Leo, great footage you‘ve created. Very cool and it definitely what I have in mind if I remember my Tour. You definitely know how your tool work and how to use them. 👍 One Tip, be careful in regard to speed limits. Switzerland is very expensive if you get catches by radar… Have fun enjoy the journey and stay always on the bike. ✌️
Love your vid`s Leo, they are so calming and relaxing , your composition is absolute the best! Looking forward to the rest of this series. Keep up the great work! 😊
@@LNRmoto Sadly I live near the Scottish Borders so I don’t get to the Alps that often, not complaining as the roads around here and in Scotland are some of the best.😀🏍
Such a beautiful video. Your journey inspires me and sometime i think i can feal the sun as you. This year i will go the france and ride the route des grandes alpes. This is my highlight with the bike. Ride allways safe and carefully.
Your editing, story telling, it all is captivating! On that note, well, I’m Austrian. I’m watching your journey from the USA…and it really makes me question why I’m not back “home”. 😂
As always a wonderful video, you are really an inspiration for my next trip which will be on your trails to Mt. Blanc. Beware speed limits in Switzerland can be very strict.
I’m a new subacriber after a close friend recommended you and I’m so glad that he did. Amazing footage and very well edited. I look forward to watching all of your previous content as well as all your new stuff. 🔥
Awesome to hear this and happy you are glad about it too haha. You'll be needing some time to go through all of it, but should be good before the new series start from the Dolomites trip I'm gonna do soon.
Thanks for sharing- brought back many memories of doing the pass! Btw any plans to share a video of your bike set up and mods etc? Would be really interesting for us bike geeks!
No thanks, glad you enjoyed. I’m planning on doing a longer review video this spring/summer somewhere in between traveling with all the new mods and gear on it! 🙌🏼
